The lil bean is here and kept us guessing if he would be an [name_u]August[/name_u] or [name_f]September[/name_f] baby until the very end. He finally arrived at 4:14 a.m. on [name_f]September[/name_f] 1st, after a lengthy 26-hour but very pleasant and positive birth experience. And he wasn’t that “lil” - 8 lbs. 1 oz. and 21 3/8 inches :smiley:

His name is [name_m]Damien[/name_m] [name_m]Kenneth[/name_m].

[name_m]Kenneth[/name_m] honors my father who passed away in [name_f]September[/name_f] two years ago, and [name_m]Damien[/name_m] we had picked out even before that just because we love the way it sounds. Has [name_m]Damien[/name_m]/[name_m]Damian[/name_m] “sidestepped its demonic horror movie overtones”? No, it has not, many people we’ve told mentioning that the “Omen” was their first thought. But my husband and I are so glad we kept it anyway. We love him and his name!

I think [name_m]Damien[/name_m] is a very handsome name! It’s great you were able to pick the name you loved despite other people’s reservations- hey, it’s gives him a bit of a bad boy image yet he still has a strong solid name

Nice name. My first thought was singer [name_m]Damien[/name_m] [name_u]Rice[/name_u], not a horror movie. :slight_smile:
