[name_f]My[/name_f] husband’s name is [name_m]Daniel[/name_m] who is quite keen to name a son after himself, but I’ve recently discovered the Celtic name [name_m]Kellan[/name_m]. [name_f]My[/name_f] Grandfather who was [name_u]Michael[/name_u] [name_u]Kelly[/name_u] passed a couple of years ago and [name_m]Kellan[/name_m] [name_u]Michael[/name_u] seems like a perfect tribute, while being a little different, but husband thinks traditional names are best for boys.
Thoughts on
[name_m]Kellan[/name_m] [name_u]Michael[/name_u]
[name_m]Daniel[/name_m] [name_u]Michael[/name_u]
I really like [name_m]Kellan[/name_m] [name_u]Michael[/name_u], I’m also not a big fan of father/son shared name. Maybe could do [name_m]Kellan[/name_m] [name_m]Daniel[/name_m] if you’re not completely set on [name_u]Michael[/name_u] as mn.
I agree. [name_f]My[/name_f] immediate thought was [name_m]Kellan[/name_m] [name_m]Daniel[/name_m]. It’s very cute and covers all the bases. (I like honor names, though, normally in the middle.)
[name_m]Kellan[/name_m] [name_u]Michael[/name_u] was a contender for our baby boy as my husband’s name is [name_u]Michael[/name_u]. A couple of people thought I was having a girl when hearing the name and it’s trendy due to the Twilight star.
[name_f]My[/name_f] opinion [name_m]Kellan[/name_m] [name_m]Daniel[/name_m]. It gives your Grandfather a nod, and your husbands half desire LOL.
I personally had chosen [name_m]Kellan[/name_m] for our third girl back in 99.
I like [name_m]Kellan[/name_m] [name_m]Daniel[/name_m] too if thats an option, otherwise I vote for [name_m]Kellan[/name_m] [name_u]Michael[/name_u], [name_m]Daniel[/name_m] [name_u]Michael[/name_u] is very -el heavy so I would chose one or the other.
[name_m]Kellan[/name_m] [name_u]Michael[/name_u] flows better, but [name_m]Daniel[/name_m] is more classic. Have you considered [name_m]Kellan[/name_m] [name_m]Daniel[/name_m] or [name_m]Daniel[/name_m] [name_m]Kellan[/name_m]? Or maybe [name_m]Daniel[/name_m] [name_m]Kellan[/name_m] [name_u]Michael[/name_u], if you like the idea of two middle names?
I definitely prefer [name_m]Kellan[/name_m] [name_u]Michael[/name_u] to [name_m]Daniel[/name_m] [name_u]Michael[/name_u]. but how about [name_m]Kellan[/name_m] [name_m]Daniel[/name_m]? Despite the repeated letters, i think it sounds great, and that way you get to honor both?
Oops just scrolled up and realized this has been said. I agree!
