[name_f]Daphne[/name_f] [name_f]Meadow[/name_f]. Thoughts on this name? Does it flow? [name_f]Do[/name_f] you like it? Is it PRETTY? Does it go well with sister [name_f]Vivienne[/name_f] [name_u]Rae[/name_u]?
I really love both [name_f]Daphne[/name_f] and [name_f]Meadow[/name_f], especially [name_f]Daphne[/name_f]. And they do flow quite well together.
I think the only hesitation I would have is that they are both quite soft, almost airy feeling names for me, so together it’s almost a little too soft and sweet. Which is fine, it just feels that it’s lacking a little of the “oomph” that [name_f]Vivienne[/name_f] [name_u]Rae[/name_u] has. [name_f]Vivienne[/name_f] [name_u]Rae[/name_u] also sounds sweet and soft but has a bit of a sassy edge to it too. So I guess I’d say it’s perfectly fine, but it could benefit from a little more edge.
As first names though, [name_f]Vivienne[/name_f] and [name_f]Daphne[/name_f] together are great. They have a similar kind of feel while still being quite distinct from each other.
[name_f]Daphne[/name_f] meadow sounds absolutely stunning! The only thing that would make me hesitate is the two nature/word names right next to each other…like [name_f]Lily[/name_f] [name_f]Meadow[/name_f] or [name_u]Sunny[/name_u] [name_u]Sky[/name_u]…however [name_f]Daphne[/name_f] is less obvious so i think it works! [name_f]Love[/name_f] [name_f]Daphne[/name_f] with [name_f]Vivienne[/name_f]!
I’m not a fan of [name_f]Meadow[/name_f] with the rest of the names ([name_f]Daphne[/name_f], [name_f]Vivienne[/name_f], and [name_u]Rae[/name_u]). [name_f]Vivienne[/name_f] and [name_f]Daphne[/name_f] go great together though!
[name_f]Daphne[/name_f] [name_f]Meadow[/name_f] is absolutely gorgeous!!
Exactly this
[name_f]Daphne[/name_f] [name_f]Meadow[/name_f] has a lovely blend of mythology and quirkiness. I like the combo and I think [name_f]Vivienne[/name_f] and [name_f]Daphne[/name_f] would make a great sister duo!
I think [name_f]Daphne[/name_f] [name_f]Meadow[/name_f] is fantastic.
Happens to be that the [name_f]Daphne[/name_f] I know has a very strong personality so the name doesn’t sound as ‘soft and delicate and airy’ as another poster seemed to think.
[name_f]Daphne[/name_f] [name_f]Meadow[/name_f] is a great name, esp. considering [name_f]Daphne[/name_f] means “laurel, or, bay tree” and fits so well with your chosen mn!!
Was that intentional by any chance, OP?
I don’t think too many ppl, outside NB I guess, wld make that connection. A well chosen name, [name_f]Meadow[/name_f] is lovely, and your daughters first names will go beautifully together!
Oh awesome! We both love it! I didn’t realize [name_f]Daphne[/name_f] was a nature name, so no that was not intentional to put the two naturey names together. My husband has always loved [name_f]Meadow[/name_f]…since before our first was born so that’s why we chose [name_f]Meadow[/name_f].
I love [name_f]Daphne[/name_f] [name_f]Meadow[/name_f]! It’s a beautiful name that goes well with her sister’s name.
[name_f]Love[/name_f], love, love it!
[name_f]Daphne[/name_f] is a beautiful name! I’m not much for meadow. It makes the name kind of silly. I believe her middle name should be just a tiny bit more serious. Maybe [name_f]Daphne[/name_f] [name_f]Willow[/name_f]?
I think [name_f]Daphne[/name_f] [name_f]Meadow[/name_f] sounds stronger than [name_f]Daphne[/name_f] [name_f]Willow[/name_f]. Maybe that’s just me?
[name_f]Vivienne[/name_f] [name_u]Rae[/name_u] & [name_f]Daphne[/name_f] [name_f]Meadow[/name_f] are lovely together.
I say go for it, especially if your husband really loves [name_f]Meadow[/name_f].
[name_f]Daphne[/name_f] [name_f]Meadow[/name_f] is so sweet and airy, where [name_f]Vivienne[/name_f] [name_u]Rae[/name_u] makes me think of a sunbeam.
