Would [name_f]Effie[/name_f] be a reasonable nickname for [name_f]Daphne[/name_f]? Any other nicknames you can think of?

I think that’s a perfect nn for [name_f]Daphne[/name_f]!
I’d never considered it a name that needed one, but that totally works.

I think it works well. Some other options if desired are [name_f]Dee[/name_f], [name_u]Daffy[/name_u] (may be too associated with the cartoon duck), [name_f]Nea[/name_f], or stretching a little, [name_u]Duffy[/name_u]? (makes me think of the singer)

I’ve been loving [name_f]Daphne[/name_f] lately, never would have thought of [name_f]Effie[/name_f] as a nn, but I adore it!

I think it’s cute.

In my opinion, [name_f]Daphne[/name_f] doesn’t even need a nickname, she’s great as is.

I love this nickname for [name_f]Daphne[/name_f]! [name_m]Don[/name_m]’t know how I never made the connection before as [name_f]Daphne[/name_f] is one of my top choices and [name_f]Effie[/name_f] is my favourite nickname.
