Hey berries, I’ve always really liked the name [name]Daphne[/name] ever since I was little. Recently I’ve been falling more and more in love with it thinking it would be a cute, fun and fresh choice while still being something familiar.
I only have one problem, because I loved the name even as a child I had a cat named that (along with Scooby & Shaggy). She died when I was about 13 years old. [name]Do[/name] you think it makes the name unusable? All of my family knew the cat so I’m unsure if it would be a problem. What do you think?
Also if you think the name is still usable I’d love some feedback on it. Here are some of the combos I like:
[name]Daphne[/name] [name]Willow[/name]
[name]Daphne[/name] [name]Aria[/name]
[name]Daphne[/name] [name]Winter[/name]
[name]Daphne[/name] [name]Piper[/name]
[name]Daphne[/name] [name]Quinn[/name]
I love it, It is what we are naming our baby if it turns out to be a girl =)
I don’t think it is really an issue and I know for me it would bring more happy memories remembering a pet you loved
I don’t know if it would bother me if I loved the name so much, and it’s not really up to other people so if you love the name and the association with your cat doesn’t bother you then go for it!
[name]Daphne[/name] [name]Winter[/name] and [name]Daphne[/name] [name]Willow[/name] are both perfect, I love [name]Daphne[/name] with both of those names.
[name]Daphne[/name] has always been a favorite. It has such a soft feminine sound. The connection to Scooby would have never crossed my mind. I think [name]Daphne[/name] [name]Willow[/name] is my favorite from your list. It flows so nice together!
definitely usable, and I love the name! My oldest has the same name that my childhood dog had, and nobody in my family seems to remember that except me! Once your child is wearing the name, the association vanishes.
