Thoughts on [name_f]Daphne[/name_f]…Is [name_f]Daphne[/name_f] usable for a baby girl? Or is it too Scooby-Doo?
Definitely usable. I think it’s adorable.
I think it’s the next [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f]. Go for it.
[name_f]Daphne[/name_f] is gorgeous. It has a mythological connection, it’s spunky and sassy as well as elegant. And from what I can remember from watching Scooby-Doo, wasn’t [name_f]Daphne[/name_f] the brains behind the gang? Not too shabby! 
[name_f]Daphne[/name_f] is a name I just don’t see the appeal in. Sorry

I think it’s a wonderful name. It’s feminine, but still strong. I don’t think of Scooby Doo but I agree with [name_u]Mischa[/name_u], even if people do make the connection she was the smart, clever one! No bad connections that I can think of.
Probably not usable in my part of the world – dated, and sounds too much like ‘daft’ – but I think you might get away with it in the US.
