Darcey for a boy

I know that Darcey or Darcie is very popular for girls
but what do you think of it for a boy.

I love it for a boy. although, the spelling [name_u]Darcy[/name_u], is so much more masculine!

I only like [name_u]Darcy[/name_u] (this spelling) on a boy, actually. It feels pretty masculine to me!

I also prefer the [name_u]Darcy[/name_u] spelling  I think it’s really handsome on a boy! Reminds me of [name_m]Fitzwilliam[/name_m] [name_u]Darcy[/name_u] from Pride and Prejudice.

I think the [name_f]Darcie[/name_f] spelling is feminine but [name_u]Darcy[/name_u] or [name_u]Darcey[/name_u] could work on a boy

It is a male name in my universe and I like it (though spelled Darcy).

I love for a boy so so much, but only spelled Darcy!

I think [name_u]Darcey[/name_u] could work for a boy with a strong masculine middle name. And I agree with the others, [name_u]Darcy[/name_u] is a much better spelling

I prefer [name_u]Darcy[/name_u].

And I have actually never met anyone with this name! Where do you live?

[name_u]Darcy[/name_u] is lovely for a boy! [name_u]Darcey[/name_u] is all girl for me because of [name_u]Darcey[/name_u] Bussell, but I suppose it could work! I think of [name_f]Bridget[/name_f] Jones’ Diary or Pride and Prejudice.

Super cool

[name_f]My[/name_f] dad’s name was [name_u]Darcy[/name_u], so I think it can totally work on a boy. Though, like the others, I prefer this spelling for a boy. I feel like it started as a masculine name, and the alternative spellings only came about in order to “feminize” it, so they ring exclusively female to me. (Which was totally unnecessary, IMO. The “Darcy” spelling works equally well for any gender.)

I prefer [name_u]Darcy[/name_u], and here in Australia it’s mostly considered a boy’s name (although it’s certainly not unheard of for it to be used on a girl).

I know 2 little boys named [name_u]Darcy[/name_u] and I think the name is absolutely darling! I personally wouldn’t spell it [name_f]Darcie[/name_f] or [name_u]Darcey[/name_u] for a boy
