[name_f]Anastasia[/name_f]- I used to hate this, honestly, but then my cousin named his daughter this and this kid is AWESOME so I quite like it not. Couldn’t use it, obviously, though.

[name_m]Reginald[/name_m]- I grew up with Boy Meets World and all I can think is [name_m]Davey[/name_m] [name_m]Jones[/name_m] as “[name_m]Reg[/name_m], [name_m]Reginald[/name_m] Fairfield!”

These are all GREAT names. I am sick of American name choices (not Nameberry choices, but the real world).

[name_u]Madison[/name_u] and [name_m]Jaxon[/name_m], blah! Bring me an [name_f]Agatha[/name_f] and a [name_m]Reginald[/name_m] any day.

Of course I am largely English and Scottish and European in ancestry and a total Anglo and Europhile, so maybe that accounts for my tastes. That and being an English major, teacher, and reader of a bazillion English books.

I am just starved for real, historic, substantial names.

[name_f]Alberta[/name_f] - I really love how it looks and sounds, but I there be so many ‘like [name_f]Canada[/name_f]?’ comments.

I liked quite a few of these names - particularly the girls! Of course, I have a personal biased towards [name_f]Agatha[/name_f]! I will be honest, though, I do tend to read A LOT of negative feedback on my name. I’m generally introduced as [name_f]Aggie[/name_f], which most people love. So it goes both ways.
