I prefer [name_m]Dashiell[/name_m]. You might be able to use [name_m]Dashiell[/name_m] with nickname [name_m]Dax[/name_m].
I was actually going to suggest [name_m]Dashiell[/name_m] nn [name_m]Dax[/name_m], as @pacifica said. Best of both worlds.
I like both. I would use [name_m]Dashiell[/name_m] nn [name_m]Dax[/name_m] as a first name, but just [name_m]Dax[/name_m] is nice as middle name.
I definitely prefer [name_m]Dashiell[/name_m]. I am partial to the softer sounds, and [name_m]Dax[/name_m] seems more like a nickname to me.
[name_u]Love[/name_u] [name_m]Dax[/name_m]. Dislike [name_m]Dashiell[/name_m]. [name_m]Don[/name_m]'t think [name_m]Dax[/name_m] works as a natural nickname for it. I like [name_m]Dax[/name_m] on its own, but I also prefer simple [name_u]Max[/name_u] to [name_m]Maxwell[/name_m], [name_m]Maximus[/name_m], etc.
I voted [name_m]Dax[/name_m] because I don’t like [name_m]Dashiell[/name_m], but I do feel [name_m]Dax[/name_m] needs a longer name
[name_m]Dashiell[/name_m] is one of my favourite names! I’m one for softer boys’ names too and [name_m]Dashiell[/name_m] feels soft but also bold and dynamic at the same time. [name_m]Dax[/name_m] works as a nickname for it too I think.
