Dax or Daxton?

I think [name_m]Dax[/name_m] is cute, but…I can’t decide if [name_m]Dax[/name_m] or [name_m]Daxton[/name_m] is better! Like, [name_m]Dax[/name_m] is short, but [name_m]Daxton[/name_m] is similar to [name_m]Jackson[/name_m]. I’m kind of leaning towards [name_m]Daxton[/name_m] though…what do you guys think?

I prefer [name_m]Dax[/name_m]. [name_m]Daxton[/name_m] is too pseudo-preppy for me.

I would use [name_m]Dax[/name_m] as a stand-alone name. I think it’s a great choice.

I prefer [name_m]Daxton[/name_m]. [name_m]Dax[/name_m] just seems so nicknamey to me and I cant picture a fully grown man named just [name_m]Dax[/name_m].

I’m not a big fan of [name_m]Daxton[/name_m], honestly, but I agree [name_m]Dax[/name_m] might be a bit insubstantial on it’s own. If I had to choose, I’d go with just [name_m]Dax[/name_m].

Another option for you might be [name_u]Dexter[/name_u] nn [name_m]Dex[/name_m]?
