– [name]Autumn[/name]
– [name]Winter[/name]

i have a niece named [name]Tuesday[/name], i secretly.like to call her tutu

Tutu is an adorable nickname for [name]Tuesday[/name]!

I think Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday work as girls’ names. The others are a stretch, but could work.

For months, besides the obvious April/May/June/August, I like January and July on either gender and March on a boy. The ones that end in “ber” don’t sound like names.

And for seasons, I think Summer and Autumn work for girls, Winter works for either, and Spring works only if you’re a hippie. Or a spring manufacturer.

I love [name]Sunday[/name] the most, but I do like [name]Wednesday[/name], too. [name]March[/name] would be cool on a boy.

I would never use a day name, ever. Month names are cute. For a girl I’d do [name]May[/name] or [name]November[/name] (Novi for short). I think any of the season names are viable, but I like [name]Winter[/name] and [name]Autumn[/name] the best (for girls). [name]Spring[/name] maybe for a middle. I strongly dislike [name]Summer[/name], though that’s probably the most common.

[name]Tuesday[/name], [name]Wednesday[/name] and [name]Sunday[/name] are usable for girls but definitely bold.

I think all the month names are usable for girls. I particularly like [name]January[/name], [name]March[/name], and [name]July[/name]. The -ber names are the most out-there to me. Very daring but still usable.

The only season name I don’t think is usable is [name]Spring[/name]. I like the three others a lot. [name]Winter[/name] is my favorite. Wish it weren’t so trendy.

Days:
– [name]Monday[/name] (unisex)

– [name]Wednesday[/name] (girl)
– [name]Sunday[/name] (girl)

Months:
– [name]January[/name] (girl)
– [name]March[/name] (boy)
– [name]April[/name] (girl) – This is my middle name actually.
– [name]May[/name] (girl)
– [name]June[/name] (unisex - I find it usable for a boy because of the Japanese name [name]Jun[/name])
– [name]July[/name] (girl)
– [name]August[/name] (boy)

Seasons:
– [name]Summer[/name] (girl)
– [name]Autumn[/name] (girl)
– [name]Winter[/name] (unisex - prefer for girl)

Days:
– [name]Monday[/name] (girl)
– [name]Sunday[/name] (girl)

Months:
– [name]January[/name] (girl)
– [name]March[/name] (either - I prefer it as a middle name)
– [name]April[/name] (girl)
– [name]May[/name] (girl)
– [name]June[/name] (girl)
– [name]August[/name] (boy)

Seasons:
– [name]Summer[/name] (girl)
– [name]Autumn[/name] (girl)
– [name]Winter[/name] (girl)

Names like [name]Sunday[/name] and [name]Tuesday[/name] have always been guilty pleasures of mine…I think it’s adorable! But I don’t think I’d ever really use it. I’m not fond of any of the month names, really, but I love [name]Janvier[/name] - which is the French word for [name]January[/name]. It’s pronounced jhan-vee-ay, but unfortunately, it might have trouble being pronounced correctly in the states. Plus, several people have pointed out that it looks a bit too similar to [name]Javier[/name]…So. That’s a no-go.
I think that out of these lists, the only name I’d ever really, REALLY consider actually using would be [name]Summer[/name]. I like it.

Only- [name]April[/name], [name]May[/name] & [name]June[/name]

[name]August[/name] (boy), [name]April/name, [name]May/name, [name]June/name, [name]Summer/name and [name]Winter/name are the only ones that I think are usable. The only one I like is [name]June[/name].

Days: - I don’t really like days used as names.
– [name]Monday[/name]
– [name]Tuesday[/name]
– [name]Wednesday[/name]
– Thursday
– Friday
– [name]Saturday[/name]
– [name]Sunday[/name]

Months:
– [name]January[/name] - Not really a fan, but I would think girl.
– February - Not a fan, girl or boy.
– [name]March[/name] - Not a fan, girl or boy, leaning more toward girl.
– [name]April[/name] - Not a fan, but it’s a known name. Girl.
– [name]May[/name] - Girl.
– [name]June[/name] - Girl. (I know a little [name]Jun[/name], pn same as [name]June[/name].)
– [name]July[/name] - Not a fan, girl.
– [name]August[/name] - [name]LOVE[/name]. I’ve known a few, 1 girl and the rest boys. I prefer boy, nn Auggie.
– [name]September[/name] - Not a fan, girl or boy.
– [name]October[/name] - Not a fan, girl or boy, leaning toward boy.
– [name]November[/name] - Not a fan, girl.
– [name]December[/name] - Not a fan, girl or boy, leaning toward girl, nn [name]Ember[/name].

Seasons:
– [name]Spring[/name] - Girl. I have an old friend married to a woman named [name]Spring[/name].
– [name]Summer[/name] - Used to know one in hish school.
– [name]Autumn[/name] - I know a 4 year old with this name. It’s grown a lot on me.
– [name]Winter[/name] - Girl. I know a 5 year old with this name.

[name]Nicole[/name] Kidman has a daughter named [name]Sunday[/name] (older sister [name]Faith[/name], I don’t really mind either, but they’re too close as siblings imo). [name]Beck[/name] [name]Hansen[/name] and [name]Marissa[/name] Ribisi have a daughter named [name]Tuesday[/name]. [name]Simon[/name] [name]Baker[/name] have a son with the mn Friday. Addams Family (the movies) had daughter [name]Wednesday[/name], as well, as I’m sure most people know.

I like days-of-the-week names in the middle. [name]Tuesday[/name] and [name]Sunday[/name] seem to be the most wearable, though the latter has inevitable religious connotations. I think [name]March[/name] is criminally overlooked for either gender: strong, commanding, with a sleek, contemporary sound. From the rest I like [name]June[/name] and [name]January[/name], [name]LOVE[/name] [name]August[/name], and think that [name]April[/name] and [name]May[/name] are dated. [name]Spring[/name] has an awkward sound and unimpressive second meaning, and [name]Summer[/name] and [name]Autumn[/name] seem common and a little too 90’s for my taste. [name]Winter[/name], on the other hand, is fabulous. My favorite combination is [name]Winter[/name] [name]Jane[/name].

Oh, and I’m also a big fan of [name]Holiday[/name], a la [name]Billie[/name] and Golightly.

Days:
– [name]Tuesday[/name] (F)
– [name]Wednesday[/name] (F alla [name]Adams[/name] Family)
– Thursday (M - reminds me of [name]Thursten[/name])

Months:
– [name]January[/name] (F)
– [name]March[/name] (M)
– [name]May[/name] (F)
– [name]June[/name] (F)
– [name]August[/name] (M)

I actually think they’re all usable, although I probably wouldn’t, because it’s not my style. I used to love [name]Autumn[/name], but I think it’s overdone at this point. [name]One[/name] of my dearest friends is named [name]October[/name]. She uses Tob and [name]Toby[/name] as nicknames.

Oh, I can’t believe I overlooked [name]August[/name]! It was my great-grandfather’s name, and we’ve definitely thought of using it (or the variant [name]Augustine[/name]) as middle name. I guess it is so much more name than month to me, that I didn’t notice.

You know, I’ve always wondered why [name]Spring[/name] isn’t a popular season name. I knew one in high school, and she’s the only person I’ve ever met in real-life with a seasonal name, so it came as a shock to me to discover how unusual it actually is. And I’m not sure why, either. I mean, [name]Spring[/name] is considered a nice season by most people, and the sound is kind of spunky to me. Is there some other association I’m just not getting?

To answer the main question, I don’t like any of the day names (although [name]Sunday[/name] isn’t that bad, I guess), like all the month names from [name]March[/name] to [name]August[/name] except [name]July[/name], as well as [name]January[/name] and [name]October[/name] in a GP sort of way, and think all the seasonal names are great.

[name]April[/name], [name]May[/name], [name]June[/name], [name]Summer[/name], and [name]Autumn[/name] for GIRLS.

[name]August[/name] for a BOY.

[name]Winter[/name] for EITHER.

mega_muffin, I think [name]Spring[/name] might be off the table for a lot of people because it’s not just a season, it’s also a word (springboard, bed spring, offspring, etc.).
