To me, it sounds like an attempt to make [name_u]Dylan[/name_u] sound more girly.

I would think it was a way of updating [name_u]Dylan[/name_u] so I would think boy. Especially with a -len spelling. If it were Daylyn or [name_f]Daelyn[/name_f], I’d think girl.

I would guess it belongs to a boy, probably because it sounds so much like [name_u]Jaylen[/name_u]/[name_u]Braylen[/name_u].

I agree that it sounds like an attempt to modernize or feminize [name_u]Dylan[/name_u]

I’d be inclined to assume it was a boy, but it could definitely work on either gender

It definitely sounds masculine to me.

I would guess [name_m]Daylen[/name_m] was a boy, but I wouldn’t be surprised to see it on a girl.
