[name_f]My[/name_f] partner and I will be TTC from possibly [name_u]March[/name_u]/April onwards. I say possibly, tentatively because I am having an IUD removed and it may mess up my cycle, in which case would mess up my peak ovulation days, as ultimately my cycle could change etc.
Anyway, if my periods remain the same I worked out that if we tried in either [name_f]April[/name_f] or [name_u]March[/name_u] that would give us either a 2nd or 26th [name_u]December[/name_u] due date ( or a date very close to these dates) ! So would it make sense to use a middle name option that related to [name_u]Christmas[/name_u] in one way or another? Would other berries be inclined to do this? We have actually decided on a first name for a boy or girl, which both happen to be biblical. We are Christians but not particularly religious or practicing Christians.
Ordinarily, I would say birth month doesn’t really have any influence on the baby name for us, but having a baby in [name_u]December[/name_u] ( if it happens) seems like a perfect opportunity to give them a name relating to the festive season? What do you guys think?
I will be posting a separate post on here asking for names which make people think of [name_u]Christmas[/name_u] too. Of course this is all speculative at the moment but it was just a nice idea to ponder.
Thanks
Hmm… well, I was born in [name_u]December[/name_u] and I don’t have a very “[name_u]Christmas[/name_u]-y” name, though to be honest, I’ve kind of always wanted one hahah. It’d be sweet to have a [name_u]December[/name_u]/Winter/Christmas themed name, but it’s not a necessity.
I’m [name_u]December[/name_u] and I don’t have a [name_u]Winter[/name_u] or [name_u]Christmas[/name_u] name. Would be cute, but I think it’s actually uncommon
I think I could also play around with the name [name_u]Holly[/name_u] too? As my maiden name is Hoole. I don’t know perhaps it’s a stretch but obviously I would have to have a girl. I think [name_f]Tabitha[/name_f] [name_u]Holly[/name_u] is quite pretty. And one of our middle name options for a boy is [name_u]Gabriel[/name_u] too.
Just realised I actually do, oops [name_f]Beth[/name_f] as in [name_f]Bethlehem[/name_f] and [name_m]Jesus[/name_m], still doesn’t feel properly [name_u]Christmas[/name_u] though. I’ve always associated it with the fig meaning haha. I love names like [name_f]Clara[/name_f], [name_u]Winter[/name_u], [name_f]Joy[/name_f], [name_f]Seraphina[/name_f], or [name_f]Estelle[/name_f]/Esther and star names
Tabitha [name_u]Holly[/name_u] is adorable! And not a stretch at all, it works perfectly
Clara is beautiful. That was high on my list but my partner isn’t keen. [name_f]My[/name_f] partner’s nan is [name_u]Joyce[/name_u] which I think feels christmasy. I love [name_f]Seraphina[/name_f] too.
[name_f]Beth[/name_f] and [name_f]Bethlehem[/name_f] definitely [name_u]Christmas[/name_u]
I think if I was having a [name_u]Christmas[/name_u] baby I would want a wintry/Christmas name for sure. But I’m a sucker for all things cutesy and a [name_u]Christmas[/name_u] baby named [name_f]Eve[/name_f], [name_f]Clara[/name_f] or [name_m]Joseph[/name_m] would be so lovely
You’ve reminded me that [name_f]Eve[/name_f] is on our list for a middle name option for [name_f]Tabitha[/name_f] too. I agree I am a sucker for [name_u]Christmas[/name_u] also hah.
I think it’s sweet but only if it’s a name you really love on its own and it just happens to work with the [name_u]Christmas[/name_u] theme.
[name_u]Gabriel[/name_u] would be a perfect middle for a boy
I was born in [name_u]December[/name_u] and my middle name is inspired by the month I was born in but it’s not a festive name.
I feel like a festive or Chritmas-themed name makes the most sense if you’re born towards the end of the month during the [name_u]Christmas[/name_u] period rather than near the start of the month.
And, as other have said, it’s not necessary to have a festive/winter/December-inspired name but it is a nice idea if you can find the perfect name that you love
