My husband and I have gone between [name_u]Everett[/name_u] and [name_m]Liam[/name_m] for almost this entire pregnancy. We came across [name_m]Callum[/name_m] the other day… and it stuck with both of us! Growing more and more on us each day. We like names that give a handsome/strong feel (and something not super trendy). my hold back on [name_m]Liam[/name_m] is that it doesn’t feel as special being so popular, and I find [name_u]Everett[/name_u] a bit of a mouthful to say.
Thoughts on [name_m]Callum[/name_m]?! We both like nickname potential [name_u]Cal[/name_u]. This name is ranked 500 or so in the US - hoping it doesn’t come off as too “different” or unknown

As a mom of a [name_m]Callum[/name_m] (who was also this close to being a [name_m]Liam[/name_m]), I highly endorse your pick! Mine is about to turn three and so far his name has been well received and lovely to live with. I am an American but live overseas in a developing country and we’ve had no trouble with pronunciation in either place. [name_m]Callum[/name_m] [name_m]Thomas[/name_m] is lovely. All thumbs up from me!
I love Callum! So cute and Cal is handsome too. There’s also Callan, idk if that would interest you. Everett is my second choice. But I love how Callum is more unique than the overdone Liam
I adore [name_m]Callum[/name_m]. It’s too close to my son’s name or I would have it on my short list. I also adore [name_u]Everett[/name_u] and [name_m]Liam[/name_m]. All very handsome names.
It’s one of my favorites too. I kind of prefer [name_m]Calum[/name_m], but I think that [name_m]Callum[/name_m] is the more recognizable spelling. [name_m]Callum[/name_m] is great, because it’s handsome & mainly, but also sweet & gentle at the same time. [name_u]Cal[/name_u] sounds like a successful businessman or a care free outdoorsman. It also reminds me of a little guy baseball player, which I love.
[name_m]Liam[/name_m] is one of my favorites as well, but obviously it’s insanely popular. [name_u]Everett[/name_u] is nice, but doesn’t have the same sparkle as [name_m]Callum[/name_m]
[name_m]Callum[/name_m] is a lovely name – both strong and grounded, but also quite soft and gentle, which I love in a name. The meaning is lovely, too, and [name_m]Callum[/name_m] [name_m]Thomas[/name_m] makes for a great combo.
My nephew’s name is [name_m]Callum[/name_m] – it has worked really well for him for 15 years. As a young child he did get [name_f]CAY[/name_f]-lum a little here and there (for some reason…I suppose as people were unfamiliar with it), but a quick correction and all was well. Nowadays, [name_m]Callum[/name_m]'s a little more common and familiar, so that doesn’t happen anymore.

Out of your 3 options, I like [name_m]Callum[/name_m] the best I also agree with the things you ask about each name! [name_m]Callum[/name_m] is unusual but easy to pronounce and spell.
My younger brother is a [name_m]Callum[/name_m]. It was ranked about 50th here in the UK in 2004, so doesn’t feel unfamiliar to me. It’s not overly common, it I have known several Callums. My brother is also a [name_m]Callum[/name_m] [name_m]Thomas[/name_m], and I think the combination sounds lovely
