We really like the name [name_f]Delilah[/name_f] if we have a girl (completely lost with boys names, any suggestions welcome).
Our son is called [name_u]Teddy[/name_u] and when we asked him what he wanted to call the baby (he thinks it’s a girl) he said [name_f]Lolly[/name_f]!? My boyfriends favourite name is [name_f]Isla[/name_f] (it’s too popular for me). We came across [name_f]Delilah[/name_f] and the meaning delight is lovely.
We know it’s not a massively popular name but it’s our favourite that we can agree on, any opinions or suggestions on [name_f]Delilah[/name_f]?
(The only other possibility we agree on is [name_f]Mabel[/name_f] but my names [name_f]Martha[/name_f] and think it may be too similar)

(Oh one of the middle names is definitely [name_f]Julia[/name_f], the other is [name_f]Rose[/name_f] or [name_f]Dorothy[/name_f] probably, a family name from each side)

[name_f]Delilah[/name_f] is lovely! It has that perfect mix of being uncommon but well known. [name_f]Delilah[/name_f] [name_f]Julia[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] is so pretty.

[name_f]Delilah[/name_f] is lovely! Sounds a bit like [name_f]Isla[/name_f] but less popular and I love the sounds of it! [name_f]Delilah[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] [name_f]Julia[/name_f] or [name_f]Delilah[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] [name_f]Dorothy[/name_f] would be lovely and she could even have the nickname [name_f]Lolly[/name_f] (or maybe [name_f]Dolly[/name_f])!

[name_f]Delilah[/name_f] is great and she could use [name_f]Lolly[/name_f] as a nickname-[name_u]Teddy[/name_u] would love that, I bet!

FWIW, I love [name_f]Mabel[/name_f] and don’t think it’s too close to your name; I’m not sure I like it as much as [name_f]Delilah[/name_f] though.

Have you considered [name_f]Florence[/name_f]? That’s another one that could have [name_f]Lolly[/name_f] as a nickname and sounds lovely with [name_u]Teddy[/name_u] and your middle name options.

I’m not sure if you want to entertain [name_f]Lolly[/name_f] but I’ve heard it as a nickname for [name_f]Lola[/name_f] or [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f].

In terms of [name_f]Delilah[/name_f] I love it.

I’ve heard [name_f]Lolly[/name_f] from [name_f]Dolores[/name_f]. It’s the opposite meaning as [name_f]Delilah[/name_f] but I really like it! If you go ahead with the very pretty [name_f]Delilah[/name_f], I would have [name_f]Rose[/name_f] before [name_f]Julia[/name_f] because they’re a bit of a mouthful one after the other. Good luck!

Aw thanks everyone makes me feel we’ve got our girls name! Weirdly [name_f]Florence[/name_f] was the baby name I liked but my boyfriend didn’t…
[name_u]Teddy[/name_u] can definitely call her [name_f]Lolly[/name_f] if he likes but maybe we’ll stick to other nicknames:)
