My name is [name_f]Dessa[/name_f], short, simple, ends with an a. With my first daughter I chose [name_f]Della[/name_f]… because it’s short, simple, ends with an a, feels feminine and most importantly whenever anyone asks her name I tell them my name right after and they all gush and say “dessa & [name_f]Della[/name_f]” in a sing songy voice haha.
So I’m expecting daughter #2
I want something uncommon-ish. I know [name_f]Della[/name_f] is way more common than dessa and that’s fine!
I really want a short, simple 2 syllable name ending in an a, that is also more feminine than unisex or spunky
I like very few names right now.
[name_f]Hanna[/name_f] seems nice, but feel like I may regret it.
I like [name_f]Jethra[/name_f] but hubby thinks it’s too out there.
We have family members already named [name_f]Nora[/name_f] and [name_f]Gemma[/name_f]
I lost my taste for [name_f]Vera[/name_f]
[name_f]Senna[/name_f] seems bland
Hubby likes [name_u]Lucca[/name_u]
We sort are playing with 3 syllable names like [name_f]Melora[/name_f] and [name_f]Selena[/name_f].
Please help and keep away from the most popular like [name_f]Sarah[/name_f], [name_f]Olivia[/name_f], [name_f]Mia[/name_f] etc …
[name_f]Cora[/name_f] is nice for two-syllables, as is [name_f]Jemma[/name_f] (is that too close to [name_f]Gemma[/name_f]?) and [name_f]Reyna[/name_f]. If you really wanted to keep the “[name_f]Dessa[/name_f] & [name_f]Della[/name_f]” thing going on, you could try [name_f]Tessa[/name_f], haha.
The first two that came to mind for me was [name_f]Lilia[/name_f]* and [name_f]Veda[/name_f]. [name_m]How[/name_m] about [name_f]Della[/name_f] and…
[name_f]Rosalia[/name_f]
[name_f]Elena[/name_f]

[name_f]Janessa[/name_f]
[name_f]Mia[/name_f]
[name_f]Calla[/name_f], [name_f]Tessa[/name_f], [name_f]Willa[/name_f], or [name_f]Jessa[/name_f]?
I really think [name_f]Emma[/name_f] would work well, but that may be too popular for your taste.
What about…
[name_f]Ada[/name_f]
[name_f]Britta[/name_f]
[name_f]Cora[/name_f]
