We are having a very hard time deciding on a name for baby girl! We have a very long list of names but can’t seem to commit to anything. We don’t like top 10 names for first names. So far we have:
[name_f]Della[/name_f] ( after my grandmother [name_f]Idella[/name_f])
[name_u]Ellison[/name_u] ( the “son” Goes well with our sons name)
[name_f]Callie[/name_f] ( the “c” Goes well with sons name and it is my great grandmother’s name)
[name_u]Camdyn[/name_u] ( the “c” goes well with my son’s name)
Between those few we can’t decide on a middle name at all… If we did a ‘D’ first name then I would prefer an ‘R’ middle name so I thought of [name_f]Della[/name_f] [name_u]Rae[/name_u] but DH thought it sounded too country…if we do a ‘C’ first name then I would like to stick with an ‘M’ middle name and I thought of [name_u]Camdyn[/name_u] [name_f]Madeline[/name_f] but DH doesn’t care for madeline…and if we went with [name_u]Ellison[/name_u] then we are open to any girly middle names.
I really like [name_f]Della[/name_f] and [name_f]Idella[/name_f]. I do think [name_f]Della[/name_f] [name_u]Rae[/name_u] sounds a bit country, like a young country singer or something.
What about:
[name_f]Della[/name_f] is amazing.
She has grown on me so much. She’s spunky, vibrant and has a cool southern belle sound. [name_f]Della[/name_f] is defiantly my favourite followed by [name_f]Callie[/name_f] which is also sweet. I think [name_f]Della[/name_f] [name_u]Rae[/name_u] is to country I agree with DH.
I like [name_f]Della[/name_f] best. (I also really like [name_f]Idella[/name_f])
I thought the suggestions of [name_u]Reese[/name_u] and [name_f]Raine[/name_f] were nice. Also [name_u]Wren[/name_u] would be cute although has a W and [name_u]Remy[/name_u].
I don’t care for [name_u]Ellison[/name_u] but have you thought of [name_u]Emerson[/name_u]?
[name_f]Della[/name_f] is lovely!! The others are either too cutesy or masculine for my personal taste. I think [name_f]Della[/name_f] is cute but classy sounding.
[name_u]Love[/name_u] [name_f]Della[/name_f] and [name_u]Ellison[/name_u]! A friend of mine has [name_f]Adelyn[/name_f] [name_u]Reese[/name_u] and [name_u]Ellison[/name_u] [name_f]Kate[/name_f] (Everyone calls her [name_f]Elle[/name_f] or [name_f]Ellie[/name_f]). [name_f]Callie[/name_f] is cute too, but not liking [name_u]Camdyn[/name_u].
I also agree with southern.maple. I love the suggestion of [name_f]Della[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f], it has the same flow as [name_f]Della[/name_f] [name_u]Rae[/name_u] minus the country feel.
I like [name_f]Della[/name_f] and [name_f]Callie[/name_f] best. [name_u]Ellison[/name_u] and [name_u]Camdyn[/name_u] seem like a very different style than the first two. I like unisex names but have a soft spot for the name [name_f]Della[/name_f], so that one gets my vote!
[name_f]Della[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] is gorgeous.
[name_f]Della[/name_f] [name_m]Rooney[/name_m]
[name_f]Della[/name_f] [name_f]Raisa[/name_f]
[name_f]Della[/name_f] [name_f]Rowena[/name_f]
Maybe you’d like [name_f]Calla[/name_f]? Kind of between [name_f]Callie[/name_f] and [name_f]Della[/name_f]. Less cutesy but you can still use the nn [name_f]Callie[/name_f].
