I prefer the name [name]Delphine[/name] to [name]Delphina[/name]. I can see why you would choose [name]Delphina[/name] over [name]Delphine[/name] if you worried about Dolphin.
I voted for [name]Eloise[/name] [name]Britton[/name] [name]Blue[/name]. It flows better to me and I think it could leave you with a really cute nn option of [name]Ebbie[/name].
[name]Delphine[/name] would have gotten my vote over [name]Delphina[/name], [name]Delfina[/name] and [name]Eloise[/name]. I voted for [name]Eloise[/name], which I love.
[name]Eloise[/name] is one of my personal favs, so I voted for that name. I also think [name]Eloise[/name] [name]Blue[/name] sounds better than [name]Delphina[/name] [name]Blue[/name] (that makes me think a little about “water”, though definitely intriguing).
I normally wouldn’t vote for [name]Eloise[/name] over [name]Delphina[/name], but [name]Delphina[/name] [name]Blue[/name] sounds like a mermaid.
[name]Delphina[/name] [name]Blue[/name] is magical!
With that combination you can honour both your mother and your father, which is perfect!
I definitely agree. And I prefer [name]Delphine[/name] to [name]Delphina[/name]. [name]Eloise[/name] is lovely.
I agree - I prefer [name]Delphine[/name] to [name]Delphina[/name] but I think the a in [name]Delphina[/name] helps the flow with MN [name]Britton[/name], and also gets me further away from the whole “dolphin blue” thing.
I mean, no one besides name nerds will ever know the dolphin meaning will they?? In french, Dolphin is Douphin. So close, but not a direct translation, and [name]Delphina[/name] means from [name]Delphi[/name] anyways… or maybe I am just trying to hard to make it work in my mind…
I really like [name]Eloise[/name]. I don’t care for [name]Delphina[/name].
Another who probably prefers [name]Delphine[/name]. [name]Delphina[/name] [name]Blue[/name] is really magical.
I voted for [name]Eloise[/name] even though I’m not super fond of the name. The others both sound like brands of bottled water.
anymore thoughts guys? I appreciate it
I like [name]Eloise[/name].
It’s hard to comment on [name]Delphina[/name]/[name]Delfina[/name] because it really isn’t my style. I like [name]Daphne[/name]. It has all the letters of your mother’s name included in it.
Another name you may want to consider is [name]Dana[/name]ë [name]Britton[/name] [name]Blue[/name]. [name]Dana[/name]ë is another gorgeous Greek name, even closer to your mom’s name, flows great with the other names, and doesn’t sound like bottled water or a mermaid. It is pronounced dan-ay-ee.
From your current choices, I prefer [name]Eloise[/name].
[name]Delphina[/name] [name]Blue[/name] is magical, [name]Delphine[/name] [name]Blue[/name] is sleek and fresh, with just the right amount of quirk to keep it interesting. I’m in the minority that doesn’t like [name]Eloise[/name].
what does everyone mean by magical? it that a good thing as in “it is such a gorgeous name it is magical” or a bad thing as in “I would only name my child that if she were an elf”??
People use “magical” as a compliment. So it’s a good thing :~)
ok thanks! I was beginning to think that people thought the name was more suitable to a world of warcraft avatar than a human! with the last nme “blue” that is very possible … :o
I had both [name]Eloise[/name] and [name]Delphine[/name] on my list! I voted for [name]Delphina[/name] but I much prefer [name]Delphine[/name]. I would love to see [name]Delphine[/name] [name]Britton[/name] [name]Blue[/name]… I do love [name]Eloise[/name] too but with your middle and last name [name]Delphine[/name] is just stunning! Absolutely love nn options [name]Elfie[/name] or [name]Delphie[/name]… So cute!! They are both great choices however! I think if you made a new poll with [name]Delphine[/name] vs [name]Eloise[/name] votes would be pretty even!!
