Delphine?

[name]Delphine[/name] has been on my mind lately. What do you think of it? [name]Celeste[/name] would likely be the mn. Is she a good sister for [name]Luca[/name] [name]Charles[/name]?

I flippin’ love [name]Delphine[/name]! [name]Delphine[/name] [name]Celeste[/name] sounds like the coolest girl in town!

Ha! That’s how I feel, I “flippin’” love it too :)! I think she’s a nice alternative to [name]Delilah[/name], which might be a bit trendy (and carries a little baggage for some).

I think it is SO pretty, and paired with [name]Celeste[/name] it’s almost too beautiful!

I [name]LOVE[/name], [name]LOVE[/name], [name]LOVE[/name] [name]Delphine[/name]! [name]Love[/name] it!!! I think [name]Delphine[/name] would be fantastic with your little [name]Luca[/name]!

Super pretty and just a little exotic sounding! Nice

It is very pretty, especially with [name]Celeste[/name].
My question…is there a nn for [name]Delphine[/name]?

Hmmm…good question! Would [name]Della[/name] be a stretch? I would probably just use the full name but she might like the option of a nn. Any other ideas?

[name]Delphine[/name] [name]Celeste[/name] is so beautiful!
Her nn could be [name]Fina[/name] or [name]Feeney[/name]. Those are nns for [name]Josephine[/name] which also ends in “phine” If you’re feeling especially silly sometime, you could call her [name]Finetta[/name]. I would! Then I even might call her Finetterina. Or [name]Delphi[/name] ([name]Dell[/name]-fee).

I like it a lot, and I’d consider it except it’s my sister-in-law’s sister’s name… so it’s taken in my family.

Ohhh, I love [name]Fina[/name]/[name]Feeney[/name]! Too cute!

I don’t think [name]Della[/name] would be a stretch at all. I actually think it is the most natural nn. I was watching State of Play last night (very good movie by the way) and [name]Rachel[/name] McAdams plays a reported named [name]Della[/name], and I thought of this post. [name]Fina[/name] is adorable too…as is [name]Delphie[/name]. My friend [name]Sarafina[/name] also goes by [name]Fifi[/name].
Also, I have always really liked the name [name]Effie[/name], but don’t like the names that it is short for, and thought, wow you could totally use [name]Effie[/name] as a nickname for [name]Delphine[/name]!

I know a woman named [name]Delphine[/name]. I hadn’t heard that name before I met her. I like it

[name_u]Luca[/name_u] and [name_f]Delphine[/name_f] is an amazing sibset!(!!!) And [name_f]Delphine[/name_f] [name_f]Celeste[/name_f] is a great combo!(!!!) Go for it!

Really love [name_f]Delphine[/name_f] and I love her with [name_f]Celeste[/name_f]. I’m not a fan of [name_f]Della[/name_f] at all but [name_m]Feeny[/name_m] is cute. I think it works well with [name_u]Luca[/name_u], also.

I adore [name_f]Delphine[/name_f]! she is way up on my list!! If I ever had a third daughter she would most likely be [name_f]Delphine[/name_f]! I would use [name_f]Delphi[/name_f] or [name_f]Elfie[/name_f] as a nn… Though fina, fifi, [name_f]Della[/name_f] could all work!
