What are your thoughts on the name [name_m]Derek[/name_m]? I am kind of liking it lately. [name_m]Just[/name_m] can’t picture it on a baby.
I want something strong and masculine. Other names I like: [name_m]Henry[/name_m], [name_u]August[/name_u], [name_u]Dexter[/name_u] and [name_u]Noah[/name_u].
I think [name_m]Derek[/name_m] is a very handsome name. I know when you meanvit doesnt look right on a baby but once hes named [name_m]Derek[/name_m], hell look like a [name_m]Derek[/name_m]. plus my little brothers name is [name_m]Derek[/name_m]!
Makes me think of oilfields…and a lot of football jocks from my highschool days in the 80’s.

For me it is very much of an era along with [name_m]Clive[/name_m], [name_u]Terry[/name_u], [name_m]Kenneth[/name_m] and [name_m]Keith[/name_m].
But mainly I think of the [name_m]Derek[/name_m] and [name_m]Clive[/name_m] sketches (very funny but extremely crude).
[name_m]Derek[/name_m] sounds so handsome and prince-like.
I love the name! My husband is a [name_m]Derek[/name_m]. He’s tall, handsome, smart and athletic. I sometimes try to picture him as a baby named [name_m]Derek[/name_m], and I agree that it might be a little strange. However, boys grow up to be men, and a [name_m]Derek[/name_m] can be whoever he wants to be.

I don’t find these names (or [name_m]Derek[/name_m]) handsome or appealing at all. The others on your list are much better, OP!
