I have six minor characters in my story and I need their descriptions. Describe who you think a person would look like for each of these names! For example, if the name was [name]Violet[/name], you could say you think of a shy girl who has black hair and green eyes. Please help and post a comment! These are the names:
Girls
[name]Annika[/name] “[name]Ana[/name]”: a woman who is out to save the last of her race from destruction by a dominating government
[name]Ivy[/name]: Redheaded mean girl that gets away with a lot.
[name]Grace[/name]: Catholic girl who is ready to break out from her fathers control over her.
Boys
[name]Emerson[/name]: Country boy that always makes time for friends and is a bit of a flirt/tease.
[name]Phoenix[/name] “[name]Nix[/name]”: a boy that was found in the woods and has to adjust to a normal life.
[name]Tristan[/name]: [name]Light[/name], brown, wavy hair with brown eyes. Very brave and willing to risk his life for his friends.
[name]Annika[/name] ([name]Ana[/name]): Blonde and blue eyed, very girly and sweet. Not super loud and talkative, but has a sort of quiet confidence about her.
[name]Ivy[/name]: Curly brown hair, green eyes. rather petite and likes to read.
[name]Grace[/name]: [name]Long[/name], straight, light brown hair and grey eyes. Comes from a strict religious family. Has grown up very disciplined so is coming into her own and discovering the real world.
[name]Emerson[/name]: Longish golden-blond hair and green eyes. Friendly and laid back. Likes to wear bomber jackets, sweatshirts, and old jeans.
[name]Phoenix[/name] ([name]Nix[/name]): Very pale with very dark hair. Kind of a loner and likes to listen to music all day.
[name]Tristan[/name]: Dirty blond hair, tanned, green eyes. Tall. Comes from a wealthy family and has a friendly personality and good manners.
Girls
[name]Annika[/name] “[name]Ana[/name]”- Very Scandinavian, bright blonde hair, bright blue eyes
[name]Ivy[/name]- Very pale, dark hair, either black or brown, with either hazel or green eyes, very striking
[name]Grace[/name]- I think a [name]Grace[/name] could look like anyone, but maybe light brown hair and brown eyes, nothing too unusual
Boys
[name]Emerson[/name]- Rather boyish, with sandy blonde hair or light brown hair, blue or brown eyes
[name]Phoenix[/name] “[name]Nix[/name]”- From [name]Phoenix[/name], I get reddish hair, maybe auburn or just red tinted, with bright eyes of any color, with [name]Nix[/name], I see very dark coloring, similar to [name]Ivy[/name]'s. [name]Phoenix[/name] is all light, with lots of color, but [name]Nix[/name] is very dark ([name]Phoenix[/name] does relate to fire, and [name]Nyx[/name] means night, so that’s where my opposites come from)
[name]Tristan[/name]- Darker brown hair, any color eyes, rather handsome
[name_f]Annika[/name_f] “[name_f]Ana[/name_f]”- tan skin, light brown hair, hazel colored eyes, studious but fun, shy until you get to know her
[name_f]Ivy[/name_f]- [name_m]Long[/name_m] black hair, dark brown eyes, light skin, sassy, outgoing, knows what she wants and how she’s going to get it
[name_f]Grace[/name_f]- wavy blonde hair, blue eyes, good girl, smart, keeps everything under control, very introverted (but a [name_f]Gracie[/name_f] would be very different in my mind)
[name_u]Emerson[/name_u]- young, brown hair, blue eyes, cheerful, looks on the bright side, sees the good in everyone
[name_u]Phoenix[/name_u] “[name_f]Nix[/name_f]”- dark skin, brown hair, brown eyes, mysterious, secretive, impulsive
[name_u]Tristan[/name_u]- longer blonde hair, green eyes, “cool”, arrogant, thinks he is the best at everything
I feel like [name_f]Nix[/name_f] doesn’t fit with the other names because it is unusual and feels more serious while the others are lighter and more common. These are all great names, though! [name_f]Hope[/name_f] I helped! Good luck with your story!
[name_f]Annika[/name_f] “[name_f]Ana[/name_f]” - I think of the [name_f]Astrid[/name_f] Lindgren character from [name_f]Pippi[/name_f] Longstocking: blonde, blue-eyed, a little prissy, but a lovely little girl nonetheless.
[name_f]Ivy[/name_f] - Dark-haired, green-eyed, mysterious girl. She can sneak around unheard and unseen.
[name_f]Grace[/name_f] - She’s preppy, pretty, and poised. Kind of hoity-toity. Curly haired.
[name_u]Emerson[/name_u] - Also preppy. Wears polo shirts. His father plays golf.
[name_u]Phoenix[/name_u] “[name_f]Nix[/name_f]” - Tattooed, faux-rebel. Wears black leather and thinks is a badass.
[name_u]Tristan[/name_u] - [name_m]Rich[/name_m], European boarding school kid. Mildly effeminate. Girls swoon. He’s a pretty-boy.
[name]Annika[/name] “[name]Ana[/name]” – [name_m]Long[/name_m], dark red hair, pale skin, gray eyes. Tall, fairly skinny. Wears headbands all the time and has a bit of a snooty attitude.
[name]Ivy[/name] – Short-haired strawberry blonde with green eyes and freckles. Kind of curvy. Perky, but with a bad temper that surfaces occasionally.
[name]Grace[/name] – Mousy and tiny girl with light frizzy brown hair and hazel eyes. Quiet, and not especially graceful, even given her name.
[name]Emerson[/name] – Preppy and athletic blonde kid with brown eyes who looks down his nose at everyone. Tanned skin and kind of tall.
[name]Phoenix[/name] “[name]Nix[/name]” – Punk type with tanned skin and tattoos. Pretty muscular, though kind of short. Spiky black hair. Tends to be rather full of himself.
[name]Tristan[/name] – Dark skin with black hair that falls into his blue eyes. Thin, but not especially so. Average height for his age.
Not sure what age I’m aiming for, so I’m pointlessly guessing kind of tween to teenageish?
[name_f]Annika[/name_f] “[name_f]Ana[/name_f]”: Kind of bratty and superior. I’m seeing paired plaits, maybe even freckles. [name_f]Ginger[/name_f] or light brunette.
[name_f]Ivy[/name_f]: Older and taller girl, pretty, elegant. Dark-haired, dark-eyed, olive-skinned.
[name_f]Grace[/name_f]: A tiny, frail, ladylike little girl. Small hands. [name_m]Long[/name_m], straight, pale hair.
[name_u]Emerson[/name_u]: A nerdy private-school type kid. Pale skin, pants that button a bit too high.
[name_u]Phoenix[/name_u] “[name_f]Nix[/name_f]”: That sounds like the slightly older kid who thinks he’s super awesome cool and tries to convince the other kids to do irresponsible things. Probably has spiked hair.
[name_u]Tristan[/name_u]: Lean, wavy-haired soft brunette with pretty eyes. He’s definitely the cute one.
[name_f]Annika[/name_f] is a tall girl with long straight honey coloured hair. She has a wide smile and perfect teeth but slighlty sad looking eyes. She is fit and sporty.
[name_f]Ivy[/name_f] is short and dark haired. Lots of big dark waves, slighltly unkempt. She has a womanly figure that she is a bit uncomfortable with so she tries to hide it. She is very intelligent and passionate about human rights.
[name_f]Grace[/name_f] is small framed and has a light brown bobbed haircut. She is very pretty and efortlessly stylish. She is witty and dry humoured and can seem intimidating although she is very caring.
[name_u]Emerson[/name_u] is red headed and big built. He plays rugby. He is clumsy and loveable.
[name_u]Phoenix[/name_u] is brooding with dark hair and blue eyes. He smokes and is flippant and rebellious.
[name_u]Tristan[/name_u] is well educated and ambitious. He is slight and blonde haired. He can be callous and self centered.
Girls
[name_f]Annika[/name_f] “[name_f]Ana[/name_f]” - a girl, maybe four or five, with dark brown hair and big brown eyes
[name_f]Ivy[/name_f] - an asian girl, she’s smart and friendly
[name_f]Grace[/name_f] - a typical pre-teen girl who has lots of energy, more than she knows what to do with. She has dark red hair, that is borderline brown.
Boys
[name_u]Emerson[/name_u] - he’s a more popular boy at the school, he has blonde hair and blue eyes.
[name_u]Phoenix[/name_u] “[name_f]Nix[/name_f]” - a three year old boy who’s parents are living on the edge, his parents dress him in leather and distressed denim, and give him temporary tattoos. He has medium brown hair and green eyes.
[name_u]Tristan[/name_u] - a teen boy who’s nice, but very average boy-next-door. He has light brown hair and brown eyes.
