I just came across the name [name_f]Dessa[/name_f] and I think it’s beautiful!! What do you think of it? I’ve never heard of it! I think I would like it more as a nickname than a standalone name but don’t know what a full form of it could be. Maybe [name_f]Odessa[/name_f]? Any other ideas?

I think it’s deprived from a nickname! It’s cute you’ll probably get a lot of comments saying it’s similar to [name_f]Tessa[/name_f] but I think the D sound makes it a stand alone name!

I’d automatically think it’s for [name_f]Odessa[/name_f]. You could also do it (as a stretch) for [name_f]Hadassah[/name_f].

I’ve never heard it as a full name, just as a nn for [name_f]Odessa[/name_f], but I like it! It reminds me of a less cutesy [name_f]Tessa[/name_f] because of the stronger “d” sound.
