I like the name [name]Devon[/name] a lot and have started considering it for a girl. I think [name]Dev[/name] is a cute nn i’m just not sure if they sound girly enough
ps - i never wanted a perticularly girly name anyway and my husband insists “nothing too frilly”

I like it fine - probably because I know a girl named [name]Devin[/name], so it doesn’t seem too unusual to me.
I can’t personally use it, but I like [name]Devon[/name] on a girl.
Not a big fan of the name however personal taste aside…I also know a girl named [name]Devon[/name] so it doesn’t phase me as being odd for a female.

I find that the [name]Devon[/name] spelling is more strongly associated with being a boy’s name than the [name]Devin[/name] spelling. [name]Devin[/name] is considered more unisex.

In Australia it is a type of sandwich meat, so to me it would be like calling your daughter salami or spam
