I like the name [name]Devon[/name] a lot and have started considering it for a girl. I think [name]Dev[/name] is a cute nn i’m just not sure if they sound girly enough
ps - i never wanted a perticularly girly name anyway and my husband insists “nothing too frilly”
I don’t like it. I would assume boy automatically and I honestly don’t think it’s an attractive name on either gender. Sorry!
I have a female cousin named [name]Devin[/name], which is pretty much the same. I don’t really care for the name (boy or girl,) but I guess if it’s something you like…
- [name]Athena[/name]
[name]How[/name] about Devonney? It’s more feminine sounding and you still get the nn [name]Dev[/name]!
I like it fine - probably because I know a girl named [name]Devin[/name], so it doesn’t seem too unusual to me.
I can’t personally use it, but I like [name]Devon[/name] on a girl.
Not a big fan of the name however personal taste aside…I also know a girl named [name]Devon[/name] so it doesn’t phase me as being odd for a female.
My name is [name]Devin[/name] and I am a girl. I like it. I think it suits me.
I find that the [name]Devon[/name] spelling is more strongly associated with being a boy’s name than the [name]Devin[/name] spelling. [name]Devin[/name] is considered more unisex.
I know one female [name]Devon[/name] so I wouldn’t think twice about it.
I used to babysit a little girl named [name]Devon[/name]. She was spunky and smart like the name. I like it!
I really like it but my husband hates it! I love nn [name]Devi[/name] & I think it has a really cute tomboyish sound.
My husband thinks it’s like [name]Destiny[/name] or [name]Divine[/name] or [name]Diamond[/name]…I see no connection!
In Australia it is a type of sandwich meat, so to me it would be like calling your daughter salami or spam
I think [name]Devon[/name] is all girl and gorgeous! It’s girly without being too frilly. I know a twenty-something named [name]Devon[/name], and the name suits her well. Her nn is [name]Dev[/name]. I would definitely use it if I were you.
I’ve seen it on girls but it really screams “born in the early 90s” to me.
Yes I really like [name]Devon[/name] for a girl. I know a 20yr old girl with the name [name]Devon[/name] and it’s nice to say and beautiful on her. [name]Do[/name] it!
My name is [name]Devon[/name] and I’m 26 - I like my name now but didn’t like it growing up because most people assumed I was a boy before meeting me and older people would constantly mis-hear me and call me [name]Debbie[/name] lol
Not a fan, sorry. It’s all boy to me.
Exactly what I thought!
The only [name]Devon[/name] I know is a teenage boy. But I think it works for a girl.
Exactly, I knew several [name]Devon[/name]'s (male & female) when I was little.
