[name_m]Hi[/name_m] all, I love the nickname [name_m]Dex[/name_m] at the mo, I think it’s really cute & spunky.
Not a huge fan of [name_u]Dexter[/name_u] though!
I was thinking [name_m]Declan[/name_m] nn. [name_m]Dex[/name_m]? Middle name would likely be [name_m]David[/name_m]. [name_f]Do[/name_f] you think the double D is a bit much?
Other names I like are [name_m]Saul[/name_m], [name_m]Austin[/name_m] & [name_u]Kyran[/name_u].
[name_m]Dex[/name_m] as a nickname for [name_m]Declan[/name_m] is nice, but [name_m]Declan[/name_m] [name_m]David[/name_m] is a bit much, just because the length and syllable stress etc. is exactly the same. Maybe [name_m]Declan[/name_m] [name_m]Dafydd[/name_m] (dav-EETH, as far as I know, but I may be wrong) might suit you better?
I think [name_m]Dex[/name_m] is a great nn for [name_m]Declan[/name_m], and I also like [name_m]Declan[/name_m] [name_m]David[/name_m]. As long as your last name doesn’t start with D, I like this alliteration!
I think it works, but I am a firm believer in naming a child what he will be called. [name_m]Dax[/name_m] is a legitimate name on it’s own, so why not [name_m]Dex[/name_m]? [name_m]Declan[/name_m] [name_m]David[/name_m] is fabulous as well!
