I adore the name [name]Apolline[/name]! Personally, I would avoid another A name. I think [name]Capucine[/name] is beautiful, but I am afraid that people might read it and say “Cappucino?” However, after a correction I don’t think it will be a problem, and it is so lovely.
[name]Romilly[/name] is a lovely name, too, which I think would work equally well - my cousin named her little girl [name]Romilly[/name], and she has only ever gotten compliments on the choice (her daughter is eight now).
[name]Amelie[/name]/ [name]Ameline[/name] are DH favourite but like you i thought its too close to [name]Apolline[/name] with “A” and mainly “ine”.
[name]Capucine[/name] and [name]Romilly[/name] more rare imo.
Thanks for your comment on [name]Romilly[/name] since you also live in britain (i think), it does reassure me that it might be safer choice than [name]Capucine[/name].
I agree [name]Rollo[/name]!
I think its very feminine and sweet.
However in [name]France[/name] it is extremely popular.
It is DH fav but i am struggling to keep him happy and have unusual name for both contries ([name]France[/name] n [name]Britain[/name])
