Each year, you roll the die once. The first number is the category, the second is the specific action. Two actions happen a year, hence the two sets of die.

There is a possibility for someone in your household to die, just to make the game more realistic. However, it’s not likely. You play for 20 years.

Year 5
[name_m]Desmond[/name_m] decides to open up a household barbershop, where he promptly cuts [name_m]Jonathan[/name_m]’s hair. The only way to fix that mess is to shave the rest of it off. [name_f]Priscilla[/name_f] and [name_u]Emery[/name_u] aren’t too happy with [name_m]Desmond[/name_m]. Later that year, [name_f]Priscilla[/name_f], [name_u]Emery[/name_u], [name_m]Jon[/name_m], [name_m]Desmond[/name_m], and [name_f]Felicity[/name_f] go to Disney world!

Year 6
[name_m]Jon[/name_m] loved Disney World and wanted to go back for his birthday. Unfortunately, that wasn’t realistic at the time, so the Snyders went to a local hotel for a night instead. It was a lot of fun! They then go to a family reunion in Connecticut!

Year 7
The Snyders adopt a female hedgehog! They name her [name_f]Honey[/name_f]. [name_u]Emery[/name_u]’s dad [name_m]Richard[/name_m] dies. It’s a difficult time for the whole family.

Year 8
[name_u]Emery[/name_u] gets in a car accident, but he thankfully survives. After that, he gets his ears pierced so that he can “appreciate life more”.

The Snyder’s take another local hotel trip, this time because their air conditioning broke in the hottest part of the summer. They stayed for three days before it got fixed. They also adopt a male cat! His name is [name_f]Nutmeg[/name_f].

[name_u]Emery[/name_u] cheats! [name_f]Priscilla[/name_f] is furious. Cheating is a dealbreaker for her and they get a divorce. She buys a smaller home because she is no longer with [name_u]Emery[/name_u]. It has three bedrooms and two bathrooms.

[name_f]Priscilla[/name_f] gets fired from her graphic design job and goes back to being an architect. You inherit a large amount of money! You put a lot of it into savings but you also renovate your house a little. You have added a bedroom and a living room.

Year 1: To celebrate their first year as a married couple, they buy a new car for [name_f]Maddie[/name_f] as [name_u]Jayden[/name_u]’s truck is still going strong. [name_f]Maddie[/name_f]’s been driving around her little used car from high school and university. She buys a grey [name_m]Ford[/name_m] [name_u]Explorer[/name_u], a car she has wanted for a while. To further celebrate their first year, they go on a vacation to the United [name_m]Kingdom[/name_m]. They visit [name_f]England[/name_f], [name_f]Scotland[/name_f] and [name_f]Ireland[/name_f].

Year 2: [name_f]Maddie[/name_f] and [name_u]Jayden[/name_u] decided to add to their family this year. They adopt a hedgehog. They name him [name_u]Harry[/name_u]. [name_u]Jayden[/name_u] always had a family tradition of going camping with his family when he was younger and he wanted to carry it on with his family. He takes [name_f]Maddie[/name_f] to his family’s favourite camp ground and they tent it. They both have a great time and can’t wait to bring their own children one day.

Year 3: Despite [name_f]Maddie[/name_f] being so young, she has a heart attack. She makes a full recovery, but she is told to take it easy for a while. Instead of travelling around this year because of [name_f]Maddie[/name_f]’s health, [name_f]Maddie[/name_f] and [name_u]Jayden[/name_u] decide to participate in a staycation. They decide to explore their town and their county. They really enjoy visiting and exploring their area.

Year 4: [name_f]Maddie[/name_f] has been doing much better and she goes for regular checkups. They are hoping to expand their family and have more land out in the country. It’s just on the outskirts of their town, about a five minute drive from their old house. It has three/four bedrooms and one and a half bathroom. Money has been tight with the new car payment, new house payments and [name_f]Maddie[/name_f] having to cutback on work last year, so [name_u]Jayden[/name_u] has picked up a part-time job stocking shelves on top of his working construction.

Year 5: This year [name_u]Jayden[/name_u]’s father unexpectedly dies. He was involved in a major car accident and he did he succumbed to his injuries. He was very upset and he became depressed for a few months. He was very close to his father; they would go fishing, camping and to sporting events together. To end their year on a high note they adopt a grey Siberian Husky puppy that they name [name_f]Lyra[/name_f].

Year 6: This year [name_f]Maddie[/name_f] and [name_u]Jayden[/name_u] finally welcome their first child. They have been trying for a few years and they have not been successful. At their first ultrasound they receive even more exciting news - they are having twins! [name_u]Jayden[/name_u] and [name_f]Maddie[/name_f] could not be more thrilled. They decide to keep the sex a surprise until they are born. A few short months later they welcome twin boys and they name them [name_m]Samuel[/name_m] ‘[name_u]Sam[/name_u]’ [name_u]Auden[/name_u] and [name_m]Wesley[/name_m] ‘[name_m]Wes[/name_m]’ [name_u]Sawyer[/name_u] [name_m]Fairchild[/name_m] - both boys have a name that honours their deceased grandfather. After the birth of their boys, [name_f]Maddie[/name_f] and [name_u]Jayden[/name_u] decide to redo the nursery. They make it nature themed with elephants and wolves. It is grey and green with matching cribs and blankets.

Year 7: This year [name_u]Jayden[/name_u] decides to change his appearance up. He has been debating back and forth about whether or not to get his ears pierced. [name_f]Maddie[/name_f] encouraged him to take the plunge and he now has holes in his ears with black studs. He really likes them, and so does [name_f]Maddie[/name_f]. [name_f]Maddie[/name_f] gets a teaching job offer in [name_u]Nova[/name_u] [name_f]Scotia[/name_f] and the family decides to move to [name_u]Nova[/name_u] [name_f]Scotia[/name_f] from [name_m]Ontario[/name_m]. Their new house is on six acres of land and has four bedrooms and two full bathrooms.

Year 8: [name_u]Sam[/name_u] and [name_m]Wes[/name_m] are almost two years old when [name_f]Maddie[/name_f] and [name_u]Jayden[/name_u] welcome another little baby boy. They are over the moon, and the boys are happy to be big brothers. They name him [name_m]Russell[/name_m] ‘[name_m]Russ[/name_m]’ [name_u]Hayes[/name_u] [name_m]Fairchild[/name_m]. [name_f]Maddie[/name_f] and [name_u]Jayden[/name_u] are looking forward to watching their boys grow up on their large property. [name_u]Sam[/name_u] and [name_m]Wes[/name_m] are in daycare and [name_m]Wes[/name_m] got in trouble for throwing food and hitting the caretaker when she was scolding him. [name_f]Maddie[/name_f] and [name_u]Jayden[/name_u] understand the reason for him being suspended for a week and try to correct his behaviour more.

Year 9: This year, [name_f]Maddie[/name_f] and [name_u]Jayden[/name_u] decide to be brave and take their three boys under the age of three to a waterpark. A few meltdowns and lots of smiles, the boys have a great time. However, despite there being a toddler section, it still seemed a little advanced for the boys, especially for [name_m]Russ[/name_m]. [name_f]Maddie[/name_f] mainly watched with [name_m]Russ[/name_m] because she learned a few months before that she was pregnant again. [name_u]Jayden[/name_u] and [name_f]Maddie[/name_f] were excited. Their nerves increased some more when they learned it was twins again. They decided to keep the sexes a surprise. Towards the end of the year, they welcomed a little boy and a little girl. They were smaller than [name_m]Wes[/name_m] and [name_u]Sam[/name_u] and required to spend the night in the NICU, but they were otherwise healthy. They decide to name them [name_m]William[/name_m] ‘[name_m]Will[/name_m]’ [name_m]Jacob[/name_m] and [name_f]Adaline[/name_f] ‘[name_f]Ada[/name_f]’ [name_f]Virginia[/name_f] [name_m]Fairchild[/name_m].

Year 10: The family is adjusting to their growing size. The boys adore their youngest siblings and everyone dotes on [name_f]Adaline[/name_f]. [name_u]Jayden[/name_u] decides it is time to shave his facial hair. He’s been growing it out for a few years and has gotten quite long and thick. It is becoming quite ragged and unkept looking. [name_f]Maddie[/name_f] has been nagging him to shave it for awhile and he finally has. He looks a lot longer without his beard. This summer they decide to bring the kids to their local beach. It is on the coast and seems to go much better than the waterpark. All of the kids enjoy the water and swimming.

Year 11: This year [name_f]Maddie[/name_f] gets a ‘promotion’. She was offered a position as the principal at the school she works at. She turned down the position of principal because she did not want to be a principal but a kindergarten teacher. But she accepted the pay raise that was offered as recognition for her work. The other exciting thing this year is that [name_u]Sam[/name_u] asked to get his ears pierced. He says he wants to look like daddy. [name_f]Maddie[/name_f] and [name_u]Jayden[/name_u] are completely fine with him piercing his ears so he goes to get them done. He was warned that it might hurt and was prepared. He did not even cry and he loves his red studs.

Year 12: [name_f]Maddie[/name_f] has always worn glasses, but only for reading. This year, the time has finally come where [name_f]Maddie[/name_f] needs to wear glasses full-time. She has been prepared for this for a long time so the adjustment was not as difficult as she has always expected it would be. [name_u]Jayden[/name_u] and [name_f]Maddie[/name_f] have some tension between them after [name_f]Maddie[/name_f] gets into an argument with her in-laws. [name_u]Jayden[/name_u]’s mum, [name_f]Joy[/name_f], was upset that they have not visited since they have moved to [name_u]Nova[/name_u] [name_f]Scotia[/name_f] and she is incredibly lonely since her husband died and [name_u]Jayden[/name_u]’s brother is also always really busy. They video chat all the time but are not ready to travel on a plane with the kids so young and it would be a long journey to travel by car with them as well. [name_f]Maddie[/name_f] and [name_u]Jayden[/name_u] discuss it with [name_f]Joy[/name_f] and invite her to stay with them for a little while and pay for half of her travel. They also hope to go back to [name_m]Ontario[/name_m] and visit both families soon, once the kids are a little older.

Year 13: This year is a mostly a good year. It started off a little rocky when [name_m]Russ[/name_m] ends up in the ER with a broken arm and a twisted ankle. [name_f]Maddie[/name_f] was very upset, this is the first time one of her babies have been hurt with more than a scraped knee or a bump on the head. He is the daredevil of the bunch and fell out of a tree after climbing onto a weak branch and it snapped. After [name_m]Russ[/name_m] heals up, [name_f]Maddie[/name_f] and [name_u]Jayden[/name_u] acquire a large sum of money. They agree to save the money and use it for emergencies and to put some away for each of the children so they can use for whatever they want in the future.

Year 14: This year the family decides to add new additions to the family. The children have been asking for more pets. [name_u]Harry[/name_u] died almost a decade a go and [name_f]Lyra[/name_f] is getting older, so they thought it would be a great time to get more pets. They decided to be brave and get a bird. They got a little green budgie that the kids named [name_f]Minty[/name_f]. The family also decides to get another dog. They adopt a [name_u]Blue[/name_u] [name_u]Merle[/name_u] Australian [name_m]Shepherd[/name_m] puppy that they name [name_u]Blue[/name_u]. She gets along great with [name_f]Lyra[/name_f] and likes to tease [name_f]Minty[/name_f]. All the children love their new pets, and [name_f]Maddie[/name_f] and [name_u]Jayden[/name_u] are glad that they only got a Budgie and not a bigger bird.

Year 15: This year [name_u]Sam[/name_u] and [name_m]Wes[/name_m] are all excited this year because they have gotten their first ‘jobs’. They are responsible for taking care of the neighbour’s dogs when they go on vacation and walking them during the week. They feel like they are responsible adults and love their ‘job’. [name_f]Maddie[/name_f] feels like her babies are growing up really quickly. [name_f]Maddie[/name_f] meets a new friend this year. Her name is [name_f]Lauren[/name_f] Espinosa and she is new teacher at the school. The two instantly clicked and have become fast and good friends.

Year 16: This year [name_f]Maddie[/name_f] and [name_u]Jayden[/name_u] make the big decision to move back to [name_m]Ontario[/name_m]. They have lived in [name_u]Nova[/name_u] [name_f]Scotia[/name_f] for almost ten years and they have decided that they really miss their families and they want the children to know their grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins. To know them better than email, phone calls and video calls. It was their lucky day when their old house was back up for sale. They decide to move back into it. It has just enough space for the boys to sleep two a room and [name_f]Adaline[/name_f] have her own room. There is not as much acreage as they had in [name_u]Nova[/name_u] [name_f]Scotia[/name_f], but they still have enough to satisfy their nature needs. To add to their lifestyle changes, [name_f]Maddie[/name_f] decides to lose some weight. She wants to remain active with the kids and dogs. She loses about 20 pounds and she feels so much better and younger.

Year 17: The year starts off with fear. [name_f]Maddie[/name_f] received some news while she was at work that [name_u]Jayden[/name_u] had been in a car accident. He was in a medical induced coma while he was in surgeries to repair his broken bones. After a few days, he woke up and was fine. He had to attend physio for a while, but he did not sustain any life altering injuries. It just brought back a lot of memories for [name_u]Jayden[/name_u] when his dad died. He had to overcome that too and now he is fine. Before the accident, [name_f]Maddie[/name_f] had discovered that she was pregnant, and did not get to tell [name_u]Jayden[/name_u] before he was in the accident. [name_f]Maddie[/name_f] feared that she was going to bring a baby into the world without her husband and raise all the children by herself. After [name_u]Jayden[/name_u] had mostly healed, they welcomed another little boy. They named him [name_m]Lukas[/name_m] ‘[name_m]Luke[/name_m]’ [name_m]Joseph[/name_m] [name_m]Fairchild[/name_m]. He was definitely a surprise, but very welcomed and loved.

Year 18: [name_f]Maddie[/name_f] decides this year that she is finally going to be brave enough to indulge herself in something she has always wanted to do. [name_f]Maddie[/name_f] has never dyed her hair. She has always wanted to dye her plain brown hair a pretty autumnal auburn colour. She decides to do it and she loves it. While [name_f]Maddie[/name_f] is on maternity leave, she decides to get a side job and run an in-home daycare. It goes really well and she enjoys it.

Year 19: This year was an exciting year for the [name_m]Fairchild[/name_m] family. [name_f]Maddie[/name_f] has decided she liked the idea of following her dreams and desires last year. This year, she has decided to write a book on children and teaching. How she has been successful in teaching children for so long. The book isn’t a bestseller, but people in the educational field really seemed to enjoy it. To celebrate her success, [name_f]Maddie[/name_f] and [name_u]Jayden[/name_u] are now expecting another child. They welcome another a little boy. They name him [name_m]Theodore[/name_m] ‘[name_u]Theo[/name_u]’ [name_m]Henry[/name_m] [name_m]Fairchild[/name_m]. The older children are glad to have another little sibling to love and boss around. [name_f]Adaline[/name_f] was hoping for a little sister, but she loves her little brother. [name_f]Maddie[/name_f] and [name_u]Jayden[/name_u] are glad that [name_m]Luke[/name_m] has a little brother to hang out with, especially because there is a large age gap between the children.

Year 20: After twenty years of marriage, [name_f]Maddie[/name_f] and [name_u]Jayden[/name_u] are happy with their large family. They did not expect that after twenty years they would still be growing. [name_f]Adaline[/name_f] decided that she wanted another pet. She brought home a poor little abandoned baby rabbit. It was a light brown colour and she decided to name him Caramel. [name_f]Maddie[/name_f] and [name_u]Jayden[/name_u] thought for sure that this little bunny would have been the last surprise addition, but it seems like [name_f]Adaline[/name_f] has gotten another one of her lifelong wishes. A baby sister. [name_f]Maddie[/name_f] and [name_u]Jayden[/name_u] welcome their final child and eighth child and their second little girl. [name_f]Adaline[/name_f] was so happy, despite the age gap that she finally has a little sister. [name_f]Maddie[/name_f] and [name_u]Jayden[/name_u] decide to name her [name_f]Lydia[/name_f] [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] [name_m]Fairchild[/name_m].

It has been an adventure, but they wouldn’t change it!

[name_m]Just[/name_m] seven months later, [name_f]Octavia[/name_f]’s estranged father passes. It’s a complicated time, but she and [name_f]Henriette[/name_f] work through it together. [name_f]Octavia[/name_f]’s family claims that this indicates a curse on their household.

year two ~
[name_f]Octavia[/name_f] finally gets a job as a journalist, which has been her dream for a long time. They now feel that they have achieved the level of adult that they had hoped for before having children, so decide to start looking for a donor to make it happen. In [name_u]November[/name_u], they find out that they were successful and [name_f]Henriette[/name_f] is pregnant with their first baby!

year three ~
[name_u]Early[/name_u] in the year, they decide that with the baby on the way, they should move into something larger and better for their growing family, so they start looking around and saving up. In [name_u]August[/name_u], [name_f]Henriette[/name_f] gives birth! It’s a beautiful baby girl, and they name her [name_f]Celestia[/name_f] [name_f]Victory[/name_f] [name_u]Loveday[/name_u]-[name_u]Wilder[/name_u].

year four ~
[name_f]Octavia[/name_f] and [name_f]Henriette[/name_f] finally find the house that they’re looking for and put in an offer. They move in with little [name_f]Celestia[/name_f]! [name_f]Henriette[/name_f] decides that she would like to follow her passions rather than work an average job, so puts in an application for a masters’ degree in ancient celtic history for the university she studied at. She does preliminary research whilst at home with [name_f]Octavia[/name_f], looking after [name_f]Celestia[/name_f].

year five ~
Through the works she’s doing with her masters, [name_f]Henriette[/name_f] makes a new friend who’s studying in a similar field. Her name is [name_u]Juniper[/name_u]-[name_f]Peach[/name_f] [name_f]Conwenna[/name_f] Gouldie, and the two get along fabulously - [name_f]Peach[/name_f] even gets along with [name_f]Octavia[/name_f]! In late [name_f]October[/name_f] of that year, [name_f]Henriette[/name_f], [name_f]Octavia[/name_f] and [name_f]Celestia[/name_f] travel north into the Hebrides for a re-union of [name_f]Octavia[/name_f]’s family for [name_f]Samhain[/name_f].

year six ~
[name_f]Celestia[/name_f] gets her arm stuck in a door and it breaks. It isn’t serious - just a fracture - but it’s very stressful and she has to have her arm put in a cast. To cheer her up, [name_f]Octavia[/name_f], who has always loved art, paints it to look like a stormy sea and sky. It’s beautiful. As she is an absolute delight, [name_f]Celestia[/name_f] gets ‘elected’ head helper in nursery. It isn’t a particularly challenging role, but it’s exciting to be in a position of power, and she takes her job very seriously.

year seven ~
[name_f]Henriette[/name_f] and [name_f]Octavia[/name_f] decide to have another baby, and in [name_f]September[/name_f], [name_f]Henriette[/name_f] gets pregnant! A few months into her pregnancy, she decides to dye her light-brown hair a beautiful, dark, mossy green. [name_f]Octavia[/name_f]’s family decide that this indicates fey ancestry - and [name_f]Henriette[/name_f] doesn’t try to deny it.

year eight ~
On [name_u]June[/name_u] 21, [name_u]Oberon[/name_u] [name_u]Solstice[/name_u] [name_u]Loveday[/name_u]-[name_u]Wilder[/name_u] is born. [name_f]Celestia[/name_f] is very excited to be a big sister! On a completely unrelated note, [name_f]Octavia[/name_f] discovers that she now needs glasses! She chooses huge, round tortoiseshell frames, and they look delightful.

year nine ~
In [name_u]January[/name_u] of the year, [name_f]Octavia[/name_f] gets a raise at work. They decide that they will use the extra income to send [name_f]Celestia[/name_f] and [name_u]Oberon[/name_u] (not to mention themselves) through some exciting extra-curricular activities. They find out at parents’ evening that [name_f]Celestia[/name_f] is doing incredibly well in school (even better than they had thought), and her teachers suspect she might be gifted.

year ten ~
Near the start of the year, an investment that the couple had made a few years prior comes through - in a big way. They get a large influx of money, all at once. After paying off debts and the like, they decide that they will use the money to go on a holiday, and everything else will go into savings. They take a family trip to [name_f]Italy[/name_f], visiting [name_u]Rome[/name_u], [name_f]Florence[/name_f] and [name_f]Venice[/name_f], exploring the art, architecture, and history. It’s largely lost on [name_u]Oberon[/name_u], but at least he discovers a passion for tomato sauce.

year eleven ~
[name_f]Octavia[/name_f], who is a huge cat person, finally convinces her wife on the subject of getting a cat for the family. In the end, they get two! They adopt brother kittens from a friend of a friend who rescues and fosters them, and decide to name them [name_m]Tybalt[/name_m] and Clawdius. It takes a bit of time for the little ones to warm up to them (and vice versa), but once they’re attached, the children and the cats are inseparable.

year twelve ~
They decide that they will have a third and final baby, and [name_f]Octavia[/name_f] decides that she would like to carry this one. However, it’s not one but two, and in [name_u]November[/name_u] she gives birth to identical twin girls! They decide to name them [name_f]Minerva[/name_f] [name_u]Tempest[/name_u] and [name_f]Electra[/name_f] [name_u]Mercury[/name_u] [name_u]Loveday[/name_u]-[name_u]Wilder[/name_u].

year thirteen ~
[name_u]Oberon[/name_u] falls from a swing at school and breaks his thumb. Although it’s very upsetting for him (not to mention his mums), [name_f]Celestia[/name_f] swoops into maximum-big-sister-mode to help him with all of the things she needed help with when she broke her arm. [name_u]Oberon[/name_u] insists that [name_f]Octavia[/name_f] paint his cast as well, and she happily obliges. She also decides to have a bit of fun and change her hair colour - naturally dark - moving to a warm, reddish tone. It looks lovely!

year fourteen ~
[name_f]Henriette[/name_f] decides not to try and hide the grey hairs coming in. To be honest, she looks a little bit more faerie-like with the silver roots under her dark green hair! Later in the year, on the recommendation of a teacher, [name_f]Octavia[/name_f] and [name_f]Henriette[/name_f] get [name_f]Celestia[/name_f] assessed for ASD. In [name_u]August[/name_u], she is diagnosed with Asperger’s syndrome.

year fifteen ~
[name_f]Octavia[/name_f] and [name_f]Henriette[/name_f] decide to take [name_f]Minerva[/name_f] and [name_f]Electra[/name_f] on their first holiday! They travel to a waterpark and stay in the area for a few days in half term, going to the waterpark every day that they’re there. However, later in the year, it begins to look like [name_f]Octavia[/name_f]’s job is on the line and tensions become high. [name_f]Octavia[/name_f] and [name_f]Henriette[/name_f] have a huge fight over something that, rationally speaking, isn’t actually that important. After almost a week of basically ignoring each other, they begin to soften up, and reconcile. [name_f]Octavia[/name_f] keeps her job, though some of her peers are let go.

year sixteen ~
[name_u]Oberon[/name_u] announces when he gets home from school one day that he has a girlfriend and that they’re in love. Given their both being eight, it doesn’t last long (one and a half weeks), and the not-particularly-eventful breakup leaves him very sad… for about an hour. Later that year, the family decide to get a car in order to make wrangling four children a little easier. They buy a prius and, on request of [name_f]Minerva[/name_f], it is turquoise.

year seventeen ~
On an instinct, [name_f]Henriette[/name_f] buys an elaborate antique desk. It’s absolutely beautiful, but tragically expensive. In a lapse of wisdom, she decides not to tell [name_f]Octavia[/name_f] about the purchase. [name_f]Octavia[/name_f] is angry, less about the money being spent and more about the fact that [name_f]Henriette[/name_f] didn’t think to consult her. However, she can’t deny that the desk is aesthetically immaculate, and so they keep it. [name_f]Henriette[/name_f] decides to stop working, and become a stay-at-home mum. This also gives her more time for her interests and to spend time with friends. Conveniently, this also gives her a lot of time to stay at home with her new desk.

year eighteen ~
They’ve been considering it for a while, but they decide finally to get an extension to their house which will become a new kitchen/dining room with an upstairs conservatory. Whilst the construction work is underway, they move into a short-term rental in the neighbourhood. [name_f]Henriette[/name_f], inspired by [name_f]Celestia[/name_f]’s very cool friends (although she’s extremely cool herself) decides to pierce her nose. She makes sure that the piercing gun and any studs contain no iron.

year nineteen ~
[name_f]Henriette[/name_f] decides that she would like to study for a doctorate in her field (ancient celtic history). She decides she will work on it mostly from home where she can. [name_f]Octavia[/name_f] gives the family a fright when she gets in a minor car accident - nobody’s really hurt, but the prius needs repairs.

year twenty ~
Though she’s avoided dyeing her hair previously (mostly out of indecision), [name_f]Celestia[/name_f] decides that she would like to dye her hair bubblegum pink. Her mums are both willing and extremely excited. Not discouraged by his sister, [name_u]Oberon[/name_u] decides he wants pink hair too. His school is not particularly thrilled by the new colour, but [name_f]Henriette[/name_f] and [name_f]Octavia[/name_f] have never much cared for uniform restrictions. The twins hate to miss out, so [name_f]Octavia[/name_f] and [name_f]Henriette[/name_f] invest in some semi-permanent, non-damaging dye for them - turquois for [name_f]Minerva[/name_f] and lilacish blue for [name_f]Electra[/name_f]. In the [name_f]Autumn[/name_f], [name_f]Henriette[/name_f] and [name_f]Octavia[/name_f] decide to renew their vows (they also decide to hyphenate their own surnames like they did for their children). They hold a ceremony in the Hebrides where [name_f]Octavia[/name_f]’s family is, and bring along [name_f]Henriette[/name_f]’s family and about twenty close friends. [name_u]Juniper[/name_u]-[name_f]Peach[/name_f] is [name_f]Henriette[/name_f]’s Best Woman and [name_f]Octavia[/name_f]’s brother [name_m]Alasdair[/name_m] is her [name_m]Man[/name_m] Of [name_f]Honour[/name_f]. It’s their dream home to start a family with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. 3 months after moving into their new house, the couple welcome twins! the little girl and little boy are born prematurely and are very small so they have to stay in the NICU for a month but now they are home and healthy! Year 3= The couple’s third child is born! [name_f]Elle[/name_f] takes the three children to the park almost everyday and there she meets [name_f]Aaliyah[/name_f], who becomes her best friend. Having completed as degree in dance and performing arts, [name_f]Elle[/name_f] gets a job as a dance teacher in the local dance school. Year 5= The family move to a quieter neighborhood in San [name_m]Francisco[/name_m]. Their new home has 4 bedrooms, meaning the children can all have their own rooms, and 3 bathrooms. The house also has a bigger garden and is very close to the twins’ pre-school. [name_u]Alex[/name_u] and [name_f]Elle[/name_f] finally get married this year! They have a small outdoor spring wedding. Year 6= [name_f]Elle[/name_f] leaves her job at the dance studio after getting her dream job as a professional dancer! Year 7= [name_u]Alex[/name_u]’s father passes away from a heart attack. [name_u]Alex[/name_u] was never close to his father and his parents have been divorced since he was a child but it was still a big shock for him. The family travel back to [name_u]London[/name_u] to attend the funeral and to see [name_f]Elle[/name_f]’s family. 6 year old [name_f]Clara[/name_f] starts dance class this year and it’s very clear that she has a gift like her mother. [name_f]Clara[/name_f] is especially good at ballet and contemporary style and soon starts competitive dancing, in which she wins often.

The whole family adores her, especially her paternal grandmother who is living in San [name_m]Francisco[/name_m]. Thankfully they sort things out between them.

This year [name_u]Alex[/name_u]’ mother [name_u]Maria[/name_u] is diagnosed with breast cancer and [name_u]Alex[/name_u] decides to shave his head to raise money and awareness. Luckily [name_u]Maria[/name_u] recovers quickly from her illness.

Year 10= [name_u]Alex[/name_u] gets a raise in his work as an engineer after working with the company for a decade. After being on maternity leave for 2 years [name_f]Elle[/name_f] decides to start a small jewelry business to make some extra money and to have a life outside her children!

Year 11= [name_f]Elle[/name_f]’s jewelry business is doing very well and she wins a competition for small businesses, in which the price is a fairly large sum of money. She uses the money to develop her business. 8 year old [name_m]Gideon[/name_m] starts wearing glasses after suffering from frequent headaches at school.

Year 12= [name_f]Elle[/name_f] starts a vegan diet for moral reasons but also to lose some baby weight so she can go back to dancing. In a year she loses 2 stone and is back to the weight she was before her pregnancies with [name_f]Elena[/name_f] and [name_f]Florrie[/name_f]. [name_u]Alex[/name_u] gets a promotion to company manager. After [name_u]Alex[/name_u]’s promotion, the family move to a bigger home in the same area. This home has 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. In their previous home [name_f]Clara[/name_f] had her own room, the boys shared and [name_f]Elena[/name_f] and [name_f]Florrie[/name_f] shared. In the new house only the 2 younger girls share a room.

Year 14= [name_f]Elle[/name_f] gets fired from her job as a back up dancer on a TV show for missing a lot of practice sessions because of taking the children to and from school. Year 15= The family welcome a healthy little boy called [name_m]Grant[/name_m] [name_m]William[/name_m]. [name_f]Florrie[/name_f] breaks her when she falls off a climbing frame at the park. The break is quite bad and she has to have an operation and stays in hospital for 3 nights.

Year 16= The family welcome another healthy baby boy, [name_u]Logan[/name_u] [name_m]Alexander[/name_m]. Always wanting to be just like her big sister, [name_f]Florrie[/name_f] asks for a rabbit just like Elenas’ for her 6th birthday. She names her [name_f]Star[/name_f].

Year 17= [name_f]Elle[/name_f] becomes a stay at home parent whilst running her jewelry business from home after the birth of [name_u]Logan[/name_u]. Both [name_m]Ralph[/name_m] and [name_f]Clara[/name_f] get their first summer jobs! [name_f]Clara[/name_f] gets a job assisting her dance teacher with the younger children in the dance school and [name_m]Ralph[/name_m] gets a job in a local summer camp.

Year 18= The whole family go on a stay cation to [name_u]London[/name_u] to visit the extended family for [name_f]Elle[/name_f]’s younger sister [name_f]Eva[/name_f]’s wedding. The family have an amazing time but on the way back they are caught in a car accident on the motorway. Everyone survives but most of the family suffer injuries. [name_m]Ralph[/name_m] breaks his collarbone, [name_m]Gideon[/name_m] has a concussion, [name_f]Elena[/name_f] breaks her leg, [name_f]Florrie[/name_f] loses a lot of blood from a cut, [name_u]Logan[/name_u] breaks a rib and [name_u]Alex[/name_u] has a head injury that leaves him in a coma for 2 weeks. [name_f]Elle[/name_f], [name_f]Clara[/name_f] and [name_m]Grant[/name_m] are not injured. It’s a very difficult time for the family but in a few months everyone is better and life continues as normal.

Year 19= After the crash the family need to buy a new car. They buy a black 10 seater minivan to fit the large family. To celebrate the twins’ 18th birthday the entire family go to a waterpark for the day.

Year 20= The family build an extension on their home to add another 2 bedrooms and another bathroom. Year 1: The Calloways are expecting a baby girl! She born is a preemie but healthy. They name her Madeleine Liliana. Later that year, Mady is diagnosed with ASD (autism spectrum disorder). Thankfully, it’s mild, and she will be able to lead a happy, successful life.

Year 2: Ada is pregnant again! This time it’s a boy. Ada pushes to Margot get a deal on her book that’s been sitting on the back burner for a while. She quits her job as an accountant to get her book finished. Their baby boy is born fat and healthy. His name is Theodore Pax.

Year 3: Margot and Ada buy a new car for their growing family. They decide on a gray Honda Odyssey. They take Mady and Teddy to a hotel near their home in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and spend the day sightseeing.

Year 4: The Calloways inherit the part of the massive Becker family fortune when Ada’s father decides he is too old to run the farm, and sells the land. Margot and Ada use some of the money to take Mady and Teddy to Disney.

Year 5: Margot and Ada go to the east coast to celebrate the book publishing. Margot decides to do something very out-of-character: she dyes her hair a light shade of peach. Lately, Mady and Teddy have been begging for baby brother or sister…

Year 6: Margot gets Teddy and Mady bunk beds! They are very excited. They’ll swap top and bottom every night. Ada gets into a car accident on the way home from work. She has a broken left humerus, clavicle, and a few ribs, and internal bleeding. She had to have surgery, and she’s in a cast and sling, but she’ll be all right with a bit of physio. Mady loves to help her mom.

Year 7: Margot is in a car accident. She has a collapsed lung and badly broken leg, surgery is needed to repair it. The Calloways decide it’s time for a pet. Teddy desperately wants a cat, so they adopt an male American Shorthair, named Seven Fishy Stripes (the kids each got to pick a name and Ada was feeling silly), to help Margot recuperate.

Year 8: Both Margot and Ada are expecting! Mady and Teddy are elated to be older siblings and even Seven has picked up on the excitement. They give birth to a girl and a boy a week apart and decide they’ll be “twins”. Oliver Hawke and Finley Luna join the family happy and healthy, even if a bit early.

Year 9: Margot surprises the kids with a mixed-breed puppy from the shelter! His name is Remy. Ada decides she’s going to ‘start going gray’, even though she’s only got a few gray hairs at age thirty-four.

Year 10: Margot is pregnant with identical twin boys! They are delivered fine and healthy preemies, named Laurence Julian and Elliot Henry. As a result of his preemie-ness, Oliver has to get glasses.

Year 11: The Calloway family decides it’s time for a road trip in their minivan. They take Mady, Teddy, Oliver, Luna, Laurie, and Elliot on a trip to Canada, where Margot’s family lives. They take this opportunity to have a family reunion, so everyone can meet the babies.

Year 12: With the proceeds of a bestseller book funding the family, Ada can finally return to school to become a teacher. She has always had a way with kids and wants to teach middle school. Since they downsized, Margot has been realizing they can’t live how they are for much longer. She gets a contractor and adds three more small bedrooms to the house.

Year 13: Margot meets a handsome fellow named Ash. He catches her eye, but it’s shallow attraction, and besides, she’s a married lesbian! Ada’s sister, Aurora Becker, dies in her sleep with no warning. The Calloways are now the guardians of Aura’s newborn, Sylvie Ada.

Year 14: Mady comes home with a sick bird with a broken wing. The family decides to adopt him and he is named Grandfather because of his demeaning stance. Oliver decides to redecorate his room to better fit his book and Lego collection.

Year 15: Ada gets a call from school. Luna has fallen off the monkey bars! Ada and Margot take her into the emergency room, where they find she’s broken her right wrist. Luna gets a splint and sling, and later a purple cast, which she shows off to her brothers and her friends. Laurie has been having sore throats for a while now and has to get his tonsils removed. He recovers well.

Year 16: Ada and Margot have a huge fight about money and school, because Mady and Teddy will be going off to college soon. They meet with their marriage counselor to try to continue their relationship. With the late hours up writing, Margot has put a lot of strain on her eyes and transitions from contacts to glasses.

Year 17: Margot has been working at home for a while now, but she decides to slow down the writing and become more of a stay-at-home mom, at least until Sylvie is off to school. Elliot and Laurie were playing ‘spy’. They climbed up trees and looked into the windows, but Elliot leaned over too far and fell out of the tree. He goes to the hospital with Margot and a
twisted ankle, and they tell them that it’s broken. Elliot goes home in a wheelchair and blue cast. Laurie loves to push Elliot around!

Year 18: Margot and Ada move to Canada to be closer to Margot’s family. They buy a large house with enough space for them and all their children. When they’re visiting the Beckers, Margot gets into a huge fight with the in-laws (who are also not pro-LGTBTQ+) about how she’s raising Sylvie . They decide they are going to pick up and move to Canada to be closer to their grandchildren, as Ada and Aura were their only children (and to influence the couple in parenting decisions).

Year 19: Ada comes home with a golden retriever puppy to join Remy, the now 10-year-old dog. They name her Birdie and she loves all the attention from the younger ones. Mady is taking a gap year, then going of to college with Teddy next year. Ada is pregnant once again, with another boy! They name him Benjamin Atlas. He has a bit of jaundice, but nothing too bad.

Year 20: Margot decides to start going gray as well. Sylvie is playing soccer when she is pushed past by a larger boy. She holds her left arm close to her chest as her moms take her to the emergency room. Her collarbone is broken, but will heal by itself with a sling.

2015: [name_u]Dillon[/name_u] is caught in a car accident which requires a few months of recovery. He loses his job due to this, and decides to use the time to go back to school.
