Did your naming style change when you found out you were expecting?

I have loved unusual names since I was kid. I’ve always dreamed of a [name_f]Persephone[/name_f] and [name_m]Leonidas[/name_m], or a [name_f]Boheme[/name_f] and [name_u]Birch[/name_u]. Now that we’re expecting, we’re considering -gasp- [name_u]Oliver[/name_u] [name_m]Paul[/name_m] if it’s a boy. I never thought I would consider a top ten name; but now something about it feels right.

What about you? Did your naming style change when you thought about naming a real baby?

For me it was almost like everything pre-pregnancy was so theoretical that I felt a little more free to have slightly more out there combos.

Now we’re expecting a little boy, its like an actual child and as soon as I knew i was pregnant I started to dislike all of the combos I had! So bizarre!
