Be as honest as you like, it’s the web, what can I do?
Plus, if you have time, how would you group them as siblings? Middle Name Possibilities?
[name]Amelia[/name] : nn [name]Mila[/name]
[name]Liliana[/name] ([name]Lili[/name]-an-ah): nn LiLu
Rhoswen (Raws-wen)*: nn Rhos or [name]Winnie[/name] (I know some have expressed their extreme dislike for this name, so if you are one of them, why does it sound so bad to you?)
Calluna*: nn [name]Luna[/name]
These have some kinks, but still leaning toward usable…
= I try to stay away from these names, but they keep appealing to me with. Like a toddler with crayons and a big wall, I cannot resist the urge to draw. Lol, or something like that.
I like [name]Amelia[/name], [name]Liliana[/name], [name]Nadia[/name], [name]Laurel[/name].
The others I’m not a fan of.
[name]Laurel[/name] nn [name]Elle[/name] is nice idea, I think [name]Elle[/name] is a fresh nickname for it. Rather than [name]Laurie[/name].
[name]Nadia[/name] nn [name]Ada[/name] is just unnecessary and unfitting imo, I know a lot of [name]Nadia[/name]'s, and [name]Ada[/name] is a mismatched nickname to me, and also not needed. [name]Nadia[/name]'s short enough with out a nickname.
[name]Liliana[/name] is beatiful, but i don’t like Lilu. It’s cute though.
[name]Amelia[/name] is a classic, and I like [name]Mila[/name] as a nickname for it.
[name]Liliana[/name] [name]Claire[/name] is one combo I’ve always liked.
[name]Amelia[/name] is one of those names that I like well enough, think is really quite pretty, but for some reason just strikes me as boring. I do love the nn. [name]Mila[/name] for it though.
[name]Liliana[/name] is just not my style.
Rhoswen…I think that it just looks extremely awkward written down. I dislike the sound of the first syllable. It seems very “nasal”…if you know what I mean. Again, I like the nn. [name]Winnie[/name]. There really aren’t too many names I like in their entirety that would get you to the nn. [name]Winnie[/name]…all I can think of right now is [name]Winifred[/name]. Which is kind of…ugh.
Calluna I don’t like. I prefer [name]Luna[/name] on its own.
[name]Nadia[/name], is ok, I don’t think [name]Ada[/name] works as a nn since it the “a” in it has a different sound. [name]Nadia[/name] has a long “a” sound whereas with [name]Ada[/name], you say the name of the letter for the sound, “A”.
[name]Tierney[/name] I kind of like in a way. Not sold though.
[name]Laurel[/name], dont like. I think I grew up knowing too many [name]Laura[/name]'s and [name]Lauren[/name]'s, so its just boring to me now.
Honestly, I agree on the [name]Nadia[/name] nn: [name]Ada[/name]. I agree, I was stretching it a bit. Lol, when I was considering the name, I thought [name]Ada[/name] wouldn’t really match and [name]Nadia[/name] could stand alone by itself. I stared at the name for minutes before I came up with that. I just wanted to know I others thought the same as me.
[name]Laurel[/name] & [name]Tierney[/name] I had put on my list for about 30 minutes. I still don’t have a lot of names, so trying to narrow a couple of them down before I get to into it I guess.
Some names I want to stay away from, so I ask for Berries opinions, so I can know what to expect whenever I introduce my daughter(s).
I like [name]Laurel[/name] a lot and [name]Elle[/name] is a cute nickname. [name]Laurel[/name] was on my girl name list until my husband vetoed it. I think it is fresh sounding and I feel like a timeless name. I have been hearing [name]Amelia[/name] everywhere lately. I do love [name]Mila[/name] by itself though.
[name]Amelia[/name] ([name]Mila[/name])- I don’t care for [name]Amelia[/name], but I think [name]Mila[/name] is lovely.
[name]Liliana[/name] (LiLu)- eeh… I don’t like [name]Liliana[/name] either, and I really dislike LiLu so that makes me dislike it more. Nothing wrong with [name]Liliana[/name], though, it just doesn’t ‘do’ it for me.
Rhoswen (Rhos)- I actually like the sound of this. I don’t love it, but it’s nice.
Calluna ([name]Luna[/name])- uhhhh, [name]Luna[/name] is pretty… Calluna sounds like some kind of alcohol.
[name]Nadia[/name] ([name]Ada[/name])- [name]Nadia[/name] isn’t my favourite, but I think it’s a nice name.
[name]Tierney[/name] (nns)- I think this is awful…
[name]Laurel[/name] ([name]Elle[/name])- [name]LOVE[/name] it! I think [name]Laurel[/name] is gorgeous and [name]Elle[/name] is a really sweet nickname.
