Different vibes? Zoey vs Zoe vs Zoi

I know that there is a general preference for the most common spellings for names. This makes sense to me, if it sounds the same why spell it differently? But on the other hand I sometimes think that alternative spellings just give a different vibe. Specifically I’m thinking about [name_f]Zoey[/name_f]/Zoe. [name_f]Zoey[/name_f] is the more common spelling in the US and [name_f]Zoe[/name_f] is more common elsewhere, I think. I saw the spelling Zoi just recently and it’s way less common.

So my question is do these different spellings give you different vibes?

For me, [name_f]Zoey[/name_f] is fun, carefree and down to earth. Zoi is smart and sassy. [name_f]Zoe[/name_f] is quiet and reserved.

I like [name_f]Zoe[/name_f], but not the other spellings

I see them completely differently actually!
[name_f]Zoe[/name_f] is vibrant and fun and loud - literally ‘‘life’’ like the meaning suggests.
The [name_f]Zoey[/name_f] spelling feels very 2000s to me - I think of a cool teen with bangs and a friendly attitude

I like [name_f]Zoe[/name_f] best, but they all give me the same vibe – upbeat, sunny, happy-go-lucky.

I like [name_f]Zoe[/name_f] the best! It’s the original and most straightforward spelling. Zoi looks like it rhymes with joy to me. You might also like [name_f]Zoie[/name_f].

Zoe is my favorite spelling, but I like [name_f]Zoey[/name_f] too. Zoi doesn’t look like [name_f]Zoe[/name_f]/Zoey to me, it looks like “zoy”. [name_f]Zoie[/name_f] is another cute spelling, I think.

Zoe feels elegant and grown-up to me. A bit more artistic and academic.

Zoey feels more fun, childish, and carefree. It’s sweet and spunky.

Zoi is fresh and quirky, it feels like like a science-fiction character.

I think [name_f]Zoe[/name_f] is classic, [name_f]Zoey[/name_f] is trendy and Zoi is a different name altogether (“Zoy”)!

I like [name_f]Zoe[/name_f] the most. Zoi looks like [name_u]Koi[/name_u] and [name_f]Zoey[/name_f] feels very early 2000’s to me.

I like [name_f]Zoe[/name_f] the most- it’s pared down and gently bright! To be honest, I’m not a fan of the other spellings.

My fav is [name_f]Zoe[/name_f], I think of someone who’s really bubbly, a social butterfly (I’ve met a ton of [name_f]Zoe[/name_f]’s like this). [name_f]Zoey[/name_f] is similar, but more mellow, she’s bubbly around the people she’s most comfortable but keeps to herself if not. I don’t even know about Zoi, I keep saying it ZOY, like soy with a Z, instead of ZOH-EE. I guess she feels more out there, I think of a fashionista, a little vain, but hard working.

I don’t see much difference between [name_f]Zoe[/name_f] and [name_f]Zoey[/name_f] . They give me the same vibe . Zoi or [name_f]Zoie[/name_f] feel like different names to me and I don’t love creative spellings

Zoe is my dead dogs name so I prefer [name_f]Zoey[/name_f]. Another spelling variation I have seen i Zowie.

We just started thinking of [name_f]Zoe[/name_f] too! I like the most common spellings so it will not get misspelled as much. I think it sounds like a fun, spunky, talkative little girl!

Zoe is the traditional [name_f]English[/name_f] and Western European spelling, and I prefer it, personally. [name_f]Zoey[/name_f] seems more modern and [name_u]North[/name_u] American to me. Zoi seems very Greek to me - I would assume a person who spells it that way to be of Greek nationality.

My favourite is [name_f]Zoe[/name_f] [name_f]Zoey[/name_f] is nice but [name_f]Zoe[/name_f] looks cleaner, I’d pronounce Zoi as zoy

I look the name Zoi pronounce [name_u]Zoe[/name_u] with an long e like the name [name_u]Sammi[/name_u] or like the name li. [name_u]Zoe[/name_u] is overly popularity and [name_f]Zoey[/name_f] is a cute name but can your child used the name as an adult without sounding to childish.
