Different ways to spell Emil?

[name_m]Hi[/name_m], so I really love the name [name_m]Emil[/name_m] (pronounced like Ee-meal). But, I’m not a huge fan of the spelling I was wondering if anyone knows of a different way to spell it.

I’ve seen [name_m]Emile[/name_m] before!

The one I know spells it [name_m]Emile[/name_m], and I think that works best with your pronunciation.

[name_m]Emil[/name_m] is sometimes EM-il or eh-MIL, whereas [name_m]Emile[/name_m] I’d always pronounce with the MEEL ending sound.

This was my great-great grandfather’s name! He pronounced it sort of like AHM-ell, according to my grandfather (they are Swedish). For your pronunciation, I think [name_m]Emile[/name_m] is probably the right spelling, like [name_m]Emile[/name_m] [name_m]Hirsch[/name_m].
