[name_m]Hi[/name_m] everyone!
A good friend of mine is having a fourth kid and is having a bit of a dilemma with initial symmetry.
She is unsure if the fourth is a girl or a boy, and so far she has a:
[name_f]Lola[/name_f] [name_f]Belle[/name_f]
[name_m]Lance[/name_m] [name_m]Oliver[/name_m]
[name_u]Kyle[/name_u] [name_u]Carter[/name_u]
she inadvertently created what she thinks is a pattern? [name_f]Do[/name_f] you think she needs to follow it and name the next kid a K name? she does not know whether to follow it and go with a k name, or disregard and go with any name at all.
so 2 questions:
do you have any recommendations for K names for girls and boys that fit in with [name_f]Lola[/name_f], [name_m]Lance[/name_m], and [name_u]Kyle[/name_u]?
and if not, do you have any names that fit in with [name_f]Lola[/name_f], [name_m]Lance[/name_m], and [name_u]Kyle[/name_u] at all? (meaning disregard the pattern)
The only thing I would disregard is using another L name as [name_u]Kyle[/name_u] would be left out which wouldn’t feel very nice for him. No need to worry about using another K name. I am not very good with this style but here are a few ideas:
Boy names:
[name_m]Mace[/name_m]
[name_u]Rowen[/name_u]
[name_u]Cameron[/name_u]
[name_u]Cody[/name_u]
[name_m]Jason[/name_m]
[name_m]Ethan[/name_m]
[name_u]Blake[/name_u]
Girl names:
[name_f]Clover[/name_f]
[name_u]Ruby[/name_u]
[name_f]Faye[/name_f]
[name_f]Matilda[/name_f]
[name_u]Piper[/name_u]
[name_f]Millie[/name_f]
[name_f]Ivy[/name_f]
I don’t think she needs to continue the pattern. I think it would only become a pattern if she did go ahead and use a K name. Otherwise, I wouldn’t bat an eyelid that the first two share an initial. She’d also be limiting herself to such a small pool of names, none of which she may really love.
I don’t think there’s much of a pattern since the siblings have 2 L names and one K, so a new letter is fine. If they all started with L that might be different. I agree with the above comment that anything other than L would work so [name_u]Kyle[/name_u] doesn’t sound off with the rest.
I do think a shorter name would sound best with the sibset. Some names that came to mind:
