I am at a loss on what to do about my name. [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] is my legal first name and [name_m]Brooks[/name_m] my surname. I have no middle names.
I want to keep my name [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] or change it to [name_f]Lucie[/name_f]. I have managed to work that dilemma out. So some progress.
My problem lies with middle names. I am absolutely in love with the name [name_f]Elodie[/name_f] but I feel it doesn’t work with [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] as one middle name and certainly not with [name_f]Lucie[/name_f] just for looks and sound. Therefore I am on the hunt for another name to fit in between [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] and [name_f]Elodie[/name_f]. Also I don’t want the other name to begin with either E or L. At this point I have no names on my list that I think works. Any ideas?
Are you completely set on [name_f]Elodie[/name_f]? [name_f]Elodia[/name_f] might work - it flows better. I also like the suggestion of [name_f]Elora[/name_f].
So I thought came to mind: I was going to suggest [name_f]Lucie[/name_f] [name_f]Anne[/name_f] [name_f]Elodie[/name_f], but what about Lucianna [name_f]Elodie[/name_f]? You can still be [name_f]Lucy[/name_f]/[name_f]Lucie[/name_f], and it works with your desired middle.
[name_f]Lucy[/name_f] [name_f]Therese[/name_f] [name_f]Elodie[/name_f]
[name_f]Lucy[/name_f] [name_f]Odette[/name_f] [name_f]Elodie[/name_f]
[name_f]Lucy[/name_f] [name_f]Babette[/name_f] [name_f]Elodie[/name_f]
[name_f]Lucy[/name_f] [name_f]Claudette[/name_f] [name_f]Elodie[/name_f]
[name_f]Lucy[/name_f] [name_f]Kate[/name_f] [name_f]Elodie[/name_f]
[name_f]Lucy[/name_f] [name_f]Colette[/name_f] [name_f]Elodie[/name_f]
[name_f]Lucy[/name_f] [name_f]Josette[/name_f] [name_f]Elodie[/name_f]
[name_f]Lucy[/name_f] [name_f]Marguerite[/name_f] [name_f]Elodie[/name_f]
[name_f]Lucy[/name_f] [name_f]Clemence[/name_f] [name_f]Elodie[/name_f]
[name_f]Lucy[/name_f] [name_f]Delphine[/name_f] [name_f]Elodie[/name_f]
[name_f]Lucy[/name_f] [name_f]Fabienne[/name_f] [name_f]Elodie[/name_f]
[name_f]Lucy[/name_f] [name_f]Francine[/name_f] [name_f]Elodie[/name_f]
[name_f]Lucy[/name_f] [name_f]Georgette[/name_f] [name_f]Elodie[/name_f]
[name_f]Lucy[/name_f] [name_f]Georgienne[/name_f] [name_f]Elodie[/name_f]
Since most of the names I could find that work well between [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] and [name_f]Elodie[/name_f] are [name_m]French[/name_m] I would think spelling it [name_f]Lucie[/name_f] makes a lot of sense. I love both spellings and it really doesn’t matter which way you go. [name_m]Just[/name_m] choose the one you like best. Of course lots of people will say that you should use [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] because it is the most used spelling in English, but, really it does not matter! (And [name_f]Elodie[/name_f] is lovely btw!)
My thought was [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] [name_f]Adele[/name_f]. [name_f]Adele[/name_f] is very close to [name_f]Elodie[/name_f] but you wouldn’t have quite the same issues with it. I think it pairs well with the name as a whole, too.
