Am I the only one who thinks that [name_f]Mila[/name_f] Kunis and [name_u]Ashton[/name_u] Kutcher gave their son a name ([name_m]Dimitri[/name_m]) that is eerily close to that of Kutcher’s ex-wife? [name_f]Demi[/name_f] [name_m]Moore[/name_m]… [name_f]Demetria[/name_f] [name_m]Moore[/name_m]… The names have the same root ([name_u]Demeter[/name_u]). Coincidence? [name_f]Honor[/name_f] name? Thoughts?
First of all I just adore his name! [name_m]Dimitri[/name_m] is very handsome, though i dont if its a good match to [name_m]Wyatt[/name_m]…
I dont think they wanted to honor [name_f]Demi[/name_f] [name_m]Moore[/name_m], since the gossips say that she isnt in good terms with them, but its too big to be a coincidence…
I am so surprised by their name choice. As @bellerose says, it’s a lovely name but not necessarily a good match with sister [name_m]Wyatt[/name_m].
I am guessing that the name [name_m]Dimitri[/name_m] has some personal meaning to them, probably within [name_f]Mila[/name_f]'s family. I’d be surprised if they used a name so close to [name_u]Ashton[/name_u]'s ex-wife’s name without it being one that was more important to them to use it, than to not because of that connection.
Portwood is interesting… if [name_m]Dimitri[/name_m] comes from [name_f]Mila[/name_f]'s family tree, maybe Portwood is from [name_u]Ashton[/name_u]'s. From memory, [name_m]Wyatt[/name_m] had a family middle too. I think [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f] was a grandmother’s name.
I love the name choice of [name_m]Dimitri[/name_m] and I’m thinking it holds great significance probably to [name_f]Mila[/name_f]'s Ukrainian side of the family, which is really cool. I do feel like [name_m]Dimitri[/name_m] and [name_m]Wyatt[/name_m] are rather mismatched stylistically, but I think that if they are names that are both unconditionally loved by the parents it’s all matching in the end.
I would assume that [name_m]Dimitri[/name_m] honors [name_f]Mila[/name_f]'s heritage and Portwood is from [name_u]Ashton[/name_u]'s family tree.
Well, [name_f]Demi[/name_f] is just [name_f]Demi[/name_f] and not [name_f]Demetria[/name_f] for starters. But no, I don’t see it. I think they’re honouring heritage and family.
I definitely think [name_m]Dimitri[/name_m] was used to honor [name_f]Mila[/name_f]'s heritage.
Actually, [name_f]Demi[/name_f] [name_m]Moore[/name_m]'s name is [name_f]Demetria[/name_f] [name_u]Gene[/name_u] Guynes. [name_f]Demi[/name_f] is a nickname/stage name.
That’s incorrect information that continues to be passed down. [name_f]Demi[/name_f] has said on her twitter that her name is [name_f]Demi[/name_f], not [name_f]Demetria[/name_f].

I’m pleasantly surprised by this choice!
[name_m]Dmitri[/name_m] is fantastic. Poor little [name_m]Wyatt[/name_m] lost out on the chance for a great Russian name.
I think it’s probably a coincidence. [name_m]Dmitri[/name_m] isn’t my favorite, but in comparison to [name_m]Wyatt[/name_m], I love it will all my heart. [name_m]Just[/name_m] not a fan of [name_m]Wyatt[/name_m], regardless of gender. Poor [name_m]Wyatt[/name_m]. Maybe she can go by her middle name, [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f].
