What are people’s reactions to [name]Dinah[/name]? I’m really liking this name. It is simple, rare yet known. We have a very long, difficult last name, so simple and recognizable are very important qualities in our children’s names.
Thanks for your thoughts.
I actually know a [name]Dinah[/name]! I think its a very nice name that you dont hear often, its not my style but if you like it I wouldnt hesitate to use it
I know a [name]Dinah[/name] too! I think it’s a really cute name and you don’t hear it often. I wouldn’t use it because it doesn’t fit with the rest of my naming style, but I say go for it if you love it.
I think it goes well with [name]Sonia[/name], even though it’s a different style.
I really like the name [name]Dinah[/name]; it’s flitted on and off my list for years. I agree with pp that its a different style from [name]Sonia[/name], but I think it would still be okay.
I have a quick question about the name; I’ve always pn it “dye-nah,” but know some pn it “dee-nah.” Does anyone know the preferred pn, or is it just arbitrary?
I’ve always pronounced it Dye-nah and my friend pronounces it dye-nah. They pronounce it dye-nah in [name]Alice[/name] in Wonderland too.
[name]Dinah[/name] is so sweet! I like it a lot
I pronounce [name]Dinah[/name] DYE-nah.
Thanks for the feedback! We’d pronounce it DYE-nah.
I think its an unexpected, wonderful choice!
[name]Dinah[/name] is a very rare Biblical gem that should be chosen more often. It has a vintage charm and I think [name]Dinah[/name] and [name]Sonia[/name] are fine together.
I like [name]Dinah[/name] (it’s pronounced Dye-nuh by most I think). The only thing that bothers me is the word “die” in there. But I’m being too picky. It’s a nice underused name.
[name]LOVE[/name] your DD"s name [name]Sonia[/name]! [name]Do[/name] you pronounce it Sown ya? [name]Do[/name] you get a lot of compliment on it? So pretty
