Do I have it?

As some of you may (or may not) know, I’ve been having troubles coming up with my [name]Rachel[/name] combo. I’m fully decided that [name]Evangeline[/name] will be one of the MNs (the initials RE honor my sister), but as [name]Rachel[/name] [name]Evangeline[/name] is already pretty long, and [name]Evangeline[/name] is pretty frilly, I’m torn on the perfect second MN to go with them. I’ve tossed around dozens of combos in the past couple of months, but nothing really stuck, but lately I keep coming back to one combo:

[name]Rachel[/name] [name]Cora[/name] [name]Evangeline[/name].

Thoughts? I’m not even sure I want to put it out there because I’m afraid I’ll jinx myself. But I do really like the idea of a shorter, girly “C” MN between [name]Rachel[/name] and [name]Evangeline[/name], and I really like both [name]Rachel[/name] [name]Cora[/name], and [name]Cora[/name] [name]Evangeline[/name], and I do like the whole thing together. Huge bonus, [name]Cora[/name] was my great-great-grandmother, and I love the literary association to [name]Cora[/name] in The Last of the Mohicans (and I kind of love that [name]James[/name] Fenimore [name]Cooper[/name] came up with it–maybe a nice, subtle connection between [name]Cora[/name] and [name]Shakespeare[/name]'s invented [name]Olivia[/name] that’s also on my short list?). I didn’t love [name]Cora[/name] enough to use it as a FN on my short list, but I still really love it and would like to use it somewhere.

Could this be it?

I have several other options I like, but I’m really liking [name]Rachel[/name] [name]Cora[/name] [name]Evangeline[/name] right now…

Thanks, ladies!

I like it. Maybe its my accent. but [name]Cora[/name] [name]Evangeline[/name] seem to smush together when I say them aloud, sounding like [name]Rachel[/name] CorEvangeline. An -a ending with the next name beginning with E makes it hard for me to say. This could just be my accent though, and may not apply to everyone!

For that reason I’d probably go with [name]Rachel[/name] [name]Evangeline[/name] [name]Cora[/name]. It just sounds better to me. Overall, its stunning, though. [name]Hope[/name] that helps, good luck!

Gorgeous! I love it. However, I agree that [name]Cora[/name] and [name]Evangeline[/name] smush together a little.

Flow is not 100% but I don’t think it has to be - I think this combo is fabulous!

[name]Rachel[/name] [name]Cora[/name] [name]Evangeline[/name] is lovely! The flow isn’t all they way right, but it’s too pretty to really consider it a flaw.

Hey [name]Ashley[/name],
I thought of an idea for your [name]Rachel[/name] combo:
Break [name]Evangeline[/name] into [name]Eve[/name] and [name]Angeline[/name]
[name]Rachel[/name] [name]Angeline[/name] [name]Eve[/name]
