Normally I don’t care about initials, but this particular combination would bother me and I would avoid it.
Nelly and [name_f]Callie[/name_f] could be alternatives to [name_u]Kelly[/name_u].
If you really want to keep [name_u]Kelly[/name_u], I would suggest adding another middle name e.g. [name_f]Kinley[/name_f] [name_f]Grace[/name_f] [name_u]Kelly[/name_u] K_ or [name_f]Kinley[/name_f] [name_f]Faith[/name_f] [name_u]Kelly[/name_u] K_.
Yes, this is one of the few initial combos that are t usable. You could try moving [name_u]Kelly[/name_u] to the first name spot, other ideas for middle name [name_u]Kelly[/name_u]:
I agree with everyone else: using those initials is a big no. Please don’t do it.
I would also love to see you have a first name that varies slightly from the middle to better roll off the tongue. Preferably one that doesn’t end in y, or at least ly. Bonus if it’s a different number of syllables, too.
Here’s some ideas in the same or similar style as [name_f]Kinley[/name_f]:
Normally I don’t pay much attention to initials however I do like to make sure the initials don’t spell out anything awkward like [name_f]Freya[/name_f] [name_f]Ann[/name_f] Timmons would spell out FAT and I think that wouldn’t be great.
In relation to [name_f]Kinley[/name_f] [name_u]Kelly[/name_u] K it’s too much the initials KKK are just horrible I would honestly really hate to have those initials the KKK association is sad and painful I would AVOID these initials completely. I like the idea of adding a second middle name something like [name_f]Kinley[/name_f] [name_u]Kelly[/name_u] [name_f]Eve[/name_f] K so it’s KKEK or alternatively McKinley [name_u]Kelly[/name_u] K so it’s MKK that’s much better.
I think because it has such a strong and horrible connection that’s too far, but usually initials don’t matter too much. I agree the the previous posters on adding another middle.
Back when my sister was in middle school her art teacher assigned a project in which each kid had to turn their initials into a piece of art. It was then my sister realized that her initials were STD. She was horrified. [name_f]My[/name_f] parents had never realized it either. I think KKK would fall into that same horrifying category.
I, too, would definitely avoid alliteration with a “K” surname. I don’t know that initials matter too much… unless it’s reminiscent of some initials with really bad connotations. I would be just as opposed to SS for the reminder of the Nazi army.
Tinsley’s a nice idea, or maybe [name_f]Linley[/name_f]? I think [name_f]Linley[/name_f]’s adorable. I think [name_f]Kinley[/name_f] and [name_u]Kelly[/name_u] also sound very similar, too, so I think something a little bit different from [name_f]Kinley[/name_f] would work better.
Or what about McKinley [name_u]Kelly[/name_u]? You could still use [name_f]Kinley[/name_f] as a nn that way?
