Do initials matter?

Normally I don’t care about initials, but this particular combination would bother me and I would avoid it.

Nelly and [name_f]Callie[/name_f] could be alternatives to [name_u]Kelly[/name_u].

If you really want to keep [name_u]Kelly[/name_u], I would suggest adding another middle name e.g. [name_f]Kinley[/name_f] [name_f]Grace[/name_f] [name_u]Kelly[/name_u] K_ or [name_f]Kinley[/name_f] [name_f]Faith[/name_f] [name_u]Kelly[/name_u] K_.

Yes, this is one of the few initial combos that are t usable. You could try moving [name_u]Kelly[/name_u] to the first name spot, other ideas for middle name [name_u]Kelly[/name_u]:

Oakley [name_u]Kelly[/name_u]
[name_u]Rowan[/name_u] [name_u]Kelly[/name_u]
[name_u]Finley[/name_u] [name_u]Kelly[/name_u]
[name_u]Reese[/name_u] [name_u]Kelly[/name_u]
[name_u]Teagan[/name_u] [name_u]Kelly[/name_u]
[name_u]Cameron[/name_u] [name_u]Kelly[/name_u]
[name_u]Blair[/name_u] [name_u]Kelly[/name_u]
[name_f]Bryony[/name_f] or [name_f]Briony[/name_f] [name_u]Kelly[/name_u]

I like [name_u]Oakley[/name_u] or [name_u]Reese[/name_u] for y’all. I love that you have one middle name that honors both of your moms!

I don’t usually pay attention to initials unless they give the person their nickname or spell a word. What about…

Amaya [name_u]Kelly[/name_u]
[name_f]Mia[/name_f] [name_u]Kelly[/name_u]
[name_f]Brynn[/name_f] [name_u]Kelly[/name_u]
[name_f]Brynley[/name_f] [name_u]Kelly[/name_u]
[name_f]Braelynn[/name_f] [name_u]Kelly[/name_u]
[name_u]Delaney[/name_u] [name_u]Kelly[/name_u]
[name_f]Lola[/name_f] [name_u]Kelly[/name_u]
[name_f]Lilah[/name_f] [name_u]Kelly[/name_u]
[name_f]Juliet[/name_f] [name_u]Kelly[/name_u]
[name_f]Lyra[/name_f] [name_u]Kelly[/name_u]
[name_f]Aubree[/name_f] [name_u]Kelly[/name_u]
[name_f]Scarlett[/name_f] [name_u]Kelly[/name_u]
[name_u]Auden[/name_u] [name_u]Kelly[/name_u]
[name_u]Arden[/name_u] [name_u]Kelly[/name_u]
[name_u]Teagan[/name_u] [name_u]Kelly[/name_u]
[name_f]Violet[/name_f] [name_u]Kelly[/name_u]
[name_f]Ava[/name_f] [name_u]Kelly[/name_u]
[name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] [name_u]Kelly[/name_u]
[name_u]Harper[/name_u] [name_u]Kelly[/name_u]

Hope this helps!

I would definitely avoid it.

Ya that’s bad. How about kinley [name_f]Ellie[/name_f]?

I agree with everyone else: using those initials is a big no. Please don’t do it.

I would also love to see you have a first name that varies slightly from the middle to better roll off the tongue. Preferably one that doesn’t end in y, or at least ly. Bonus if it’s a different number of syllables, too.

Here’s some ideas in the same or similar style as [name_f]Kinley[/name_f]:

Makenna [name_u]Kelly[/name_u]
[name_u]Ember[/name_u] [name_u]Kelly[/name_u]
[name_f]Taryn[/name_f] [name_u]Kelly[/name_u]
[name_u]Brayden[/name_u] [name_u]Kelly[/name_u]
[name_u]Rowan[/name_u] [name_u]Kelly[/name_u]
[name_f]Avalon[/name_f] [name_u]Kelly[/name_u]
[name_u]Teagan[/name_u] [name_u]Kelly[/name_u]
[name_f]Jenica[/name_f] [name_u]Kelly[/name_u]
[name_u]Payton[/name_u] [name_u]Kelly[/name_u]
[name_u]Emerson[/name_u] [name_u]Kelly[/name_u]
[name_u]Brooklyn[/name_u] [name_u]Kelly[/name_u]
[name_f]Janessa[/name_f] [name_u]Kelly[/name_u]

Here’a some that still give the K sound but with a C or Q instead:

Clarissa [name_u]Kelly[/name_u]
Carigan [name_u]Kelly[/name_u]
[name_f]Crystal[/name_f] [name_u]Kelly[/name_u]
[name_f]Caroline[/name_f] [name_u]Kelly[/name_u]
[name_f]Christina[/name_f] [name_u]Kelly[/name_u]
[name_f]Cassandra[/name_f] [name_u]Kelly[/name_u]
[name_f]Cara[/name_f] [name_u]Kelly[/name_u]
[name_f]Carina[/name_f] [name_u]Kelly[/name_u]
[name_f]Carissa[/name_f] [name_u]Kelly[/name_u]
[name_f]Cora[/name_f] [name_u]Kelly[/name_u]
[name_u]Quinn[/name_u] [name_u]Kelly[/name_u]
[name_f]Quintessa[/name_f] [name_u]Kelly[/name_u]

I’d avoid it to be honest. I wouldn’t want to give the wrong impression

McKinley [name_u]Kelly[/name_u]?

Casey Kelly
Delaney Kelly
Evelyn Kelly
Cadence Kelly
Caia Kelly
Everly Kelly
Peyton Kelly
Luna Kelly
Zara Kelly
Dana Kelly
Briana Kelly
Sutton Kelly

Normally I don’t pay much attention to initials however I do like to make sure the initials don’t spell out anything awkward like [name_f]Freya[/name_f] [name_f]Ann[/name_f] Timmons would spell out FAT and I think that wouldn’t be great.

In relation to [name_f]Kinley[/name_f] [name_u]Kelly[/name_u] K it’s too much the initials KKK are just horrible I would honestly really hate to have those initials the KKK association is sad and painful I would AVOID these initials completely. I like the idea of adding a second middle name something like [name_f]Kinley[/name_f] [name_u]Kelly[/name_u] [name_f]Eve[/name_f] K so it’s KKEK or alternatively McKinley [name_u]Kelly[/name_u] K so it’s MKK that’s much better.

I think because it has such a strong and horrible connection that’s too far, but usually initials don’t matter too much. I agree the the previous posters on adding another middle.

I would immediately think y’all were racists and horrible people if your kid has kkk as iniatials.

I definitely would not do it. I really like the idea of McKinley [name_u]Kelly[/name_u]!

Most initials are okay, but I think this one is too far. How about [name_f]Tinsley[/name_f]?

Back when my sister was in middle school her art teacher assigned a project in which each kid had to turn their initials into a piece of art. It was then my sister realized that her initials were STD. She was horrified. [name_f]My[/name_f] parents had never realized it either. I think KKK would fall into that same horrifying category.

KKK is absolutely one to be avoided, absolutely.
Other ones to avoid:
FAT
POS
PIG
FML
FUK
ASS
etc.

KKK definitely tops the list though.

this is definitely too far. I would advise you to break it up with a second middle.

I, too, would definitely avoid alliteration with a “K” surname. I don’t know that initials matter too much… unless it’s reminiscent of some initials with really bad connotations. I would be just as opposed to SS for the reminder of the Nazi army.

Tinsley’s a nice idea, or maybe [name_f]Linley[/name_f]? I think [name_f]Linley[/name_f]’s adorable. I think [name_f]Kinley[/name_f] and [name_u]Kelly[/name_u] also sound very similar, too, so I think something a little bit different from [name_f]Kinley[/name_f] would work better.

Or what about McKinley [name_u]Kelly[/name_u]? You could still use [name_f]Kinley[/name_f] as a nn that way?

Good luck!
