do these 2 middle names work?

[name_m]Hi[/name_m] all, I’m new to this website and was looking for you’re opinions. We are due 3rd baby (2nd girl) and had originally picked out 1 middle name but my nan (94) who has done so much for us all over the years may not be around too see much of this little ones life. I know that she’d love it if I included the name of her best friend growing up. I also happen to like the name so that part is fine. [name_m]Just[/name_m] wondered what you thought of this name; [name_f]Mya[/name_f] [name_f]Arabella[/name_f] [name_f]Ivy[/name_f]. The name [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] is her friends name.

Thanks a lot!

I think [name_f]Mya[/name_f] [name_f]Arabella[/name_f] [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] sounds beautiful, I think you should definitely go for it

I am one of four children, and only one of my siblings has two middle names (we all have one family name for middles, but her name just flowed better with two).
We never minded, never even considered it until I joined this website!
[name_f]Mya[/name_f] [name_f]Arabella[/name_f] [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] is just lovely, so go for it! ([name_f]My[/name_f] favourite spelling is [name_f]Maia[/name_f] however

[name_f]Mya[/name_f] [name_f]Arabella[/name_f] doesn’t sound particularly bad, but the -a sound in both clashes just a tiny bit. I think it’s fine, though. It’s a pretty name overall, and it’s great that you’re honoring your nan.

beautiful, i do prefer the spellings [name_f]Maia[/name_f] or [name_f]Maya[/name_f] though but that’s just personal taste

Thanks everyone! I do prefer maia as well but I want the name to be pronounced my-a so would prob end up correcting lots of people which might get tiring. The name [name_f]Arabella[/name_f] isnt set in stone and can change so any suggestions are gladly welcome! But the order of named would have to stay the same so [name_f]Mya[/name_f] (middle name 1) [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] if u see what I mean.

[name_f]Mya[/name_f] Araballa [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] sounds great! Much better than just [name_f]Mya[/name_f] [name_f]Arabella[/name_f] would, [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] brings down the frilliness of [name_f]Arabella[/name_f], and takes away most of the sing-songyness that [name_f]Mya[/name_f] [name_f]Arabella[/name_f] has with all the -uh sounds. As far as the spelling of [name_f]Mya[/name_f], I’ve know a few girls named [name_f]Maya[/name_f], and their names were always pronounced my-uh so I think you would be fine to spell it [name_f]Maia[/name_f] or [name_f]Maya[/name_f] (this seems to be the most common spelling so I’d go with it) without too much correcting. Now for middle name syuggestions, how about
[name_f]Mya[/name_f] [name_f]Matilda[/name_f] [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] - my favorite, I love m alliteration
[name_f]Mya[/name_f] [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] [name_f]Ivy[/name_f]
[name_f]Mya[/name_f] [name_f]Fiona[/name_f] [name_f]Ivy[/name_f]
[name_f]Mya[/name_f] [name_f]Cassandra[/name_f] [name_f]Ivy[/name_f]
[name_f]Mya[/name_f] [name_f]Araminta[/name_f] [name_f]Ivy[/name_f]
[name_f]Mya[/name_f] [name_f]Cecelia[/name_f] [name_f]Ivy[/name_f]
[name_f]Mya[/name_f] [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] [name_f]Lucille[/name_f] (I know this reverses the order, but I think the flow is better this way)
[name_f]Mya[/name_f] [name_f]Emilia[/name_f] [name_f]Ivy[/name_f]

I think it’s a really lovely combination!

[name_f]Mya[/name_f] [name_f]Arabella[/name_f] [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] is a lovely combination! I’d be surprised if people couldn’t pronounce [name_f]Maia[/name_f]–it seems pretty intuitive to me. I’d use the spelling you like best regardless of how you’re worried others might say it, especially in this case.

Thanks everyone. I think I got to the stage where I was over thinking it lol so it’s good to hear other people’s opinions.
