Right now, we are planning to use names that start with “C” for our children. I am looking for opinions on the flow of these name combinations. We are pretty set on the first names and their spellings, just need help with the middles. We use two middle names, at least one is an honor name. Our last name is one syllable and starts with B.
[name]Carynn[/name] [name]Elisabeth[/name] [name]Joy[/name]([name]Joy[/name] honors me, it’s my middle) We also like [name]Isabella[/name] in place of [name]Elisabeth[/name]. Preferences?
[name]Kensington[/name] [name]Lynelle[/name] / Kensi [name]Lyn[/name] ( this obviously starts with a k, but has the same sound as the c names we’ve chosen. This one is kind of a guilty pleasure of ours that we probably wouldn’t use, at least not for now. I still like it. [name]Lynelle[/name] honors my sisters)
[name]Claire[/name] [name]Viviana[/name] [name]Danielle[/name] - I don’t like the “ana” and “[name]Dan[/name]” so close. What about switching them around - [name]Claire[/name] [name]Danielle[/name] [name]Viviana[/name]? Does [name]Claire[/name] sound ok with your one syllable surname?
[name]Carynn[/name] [name]Elisabeth[/name] [name]Joy[/name] - The flow is fine. I prefer [name]Elisabeth[/name] to [name]Isabella[/name]. Is [name]Isabel[/name] an option?
[name]Cassia[/name] [name]Jayne[/name] [name]Rosette[/name] - A little heavy on the s’s but it’s not a deal breaker.
[name]Kensington[/name] [name]Lynelle[/name] / Kensi [name]Lyn[/name] - I don’t like the flow of [name]Kensington[/name] [name]Lynelle[/name] (it’s the on and lyn). However, this combo is preferable to the rather cutesy Kensi [name]Lyn[/name].
Switching to [name]Claire[/name] [name]Danielle[/name] [name]Viviana[/name] is a possibility! [name]Claire[/name] doesn’t sound fantastic with our last name, but honestly, NOTHING does, so we decided we didn’t care. It’s a strange name.
I don’t care for [name]Isabel[/name] as much as [name]Isabella[/name], and I’m not sure why. I would choose [name]Elisabeth[/name] over [name]Isabel[/name]. [name]Isabella[/name] is just cute to me, that’s all.
I didn’t think of [name]Cassia[/name] [name]Rosette[/name] being “s” heavy, but I guess it is a little now that you mention it. [name]Rosette[/name], we wouldn’t actually use as much. If we use her middle name we would probably use [name]Cassia[/name] [name]Jayne[/name] or [name]Cassi[/name] [name]Jayne[/name].
