I’m expecting boy and girl twins! I like [name_u]Hudson[/name_u] and [name_f]Naomi[/name_f]. [name_f]Do[/name_f] they flow well together? What middle names would you suggest? Thanks in advance!
Help please?
[name_u]Hudson[/name_u] and [name_f]Naomi[/name_f] aren’t necessarily a pair I would expect to hear together, but I kind of like that about them. [name_u]Hudson[/name_u] has the popular -son ending that is getting a lot of love lately and [name_f]Naomi[/name_f] is old fashioned and quirky, but together they balance each other out nicely. I am a fan of using family names in the middle name spot. [name_f]Do[/name_f] you have any family names that you like?
They’re fine together. [name_u]Hudson[/name_u] is a bit more modern while [name_f]Naomi[/name_f] feels very biblical and timeless to me but they sound like a modern American sibset.
Maybe you could give [name_u]Hudson[/name_u] a more classic middle name and [name_f]Naomi[/name_f] a more modern one to tie them together a bit but I don’t think that would be necessary.
I agree with the PP’s that [name_u]Hunter[/name_u] is quite modern while [name_f]Naomi[/name_f] conjures up a more classic, timeless feeling. They sound fine together, but I think the styles are a bit mismatched. [name_m]How[/name_m] about [name_m]Henry[/name_m] and [name_f]Naomi[/name_f]? I know some Berries aren’t too fond of the similar endings, but I quite like how the styles go together. : )
I’m going to respectfully disagree and say I think they’re a great pair. While [name_u]Hudson[/name_u] is a newcomer in terms of popular use, I think [name_f]Naomi[/name_f] is seeing a spike lately, so they both feel very modern and ‘cool.’ I love that pair for twins. Twins don’t need to match, even better if they don’t.
[name_m]Just[/name_m] chucking in my two cents as a twin myself, you don’t necesarily want your names to be too matchy-matchy. My brother and I are twins, but we are as different as chalk and cheese and in the end the name is a unique label for the child, not part of a set. As long as you don’t name one [name_f]Mary[/name_f] and the other Unicorn, you’re good to go the way I see it
Having said that, I think [name_u]Hudson[/name_u] and [name_f]Naomi[/name_f] are super cute together! I don’t really know your naming style from just looking at two names, but in terms of middles I like:
[name_f]Naomi[/name_f] [name_u]Jean[/name_u], [name_f]Naomi[/name_f] [name_f]Pearl[/name_f], [name_f]Naomi[/name_f] [name_f]Grace[/name_f], [name_f]Naomi[/name_f] [name_u]Lynn[/name_u] or [name_f]Naomi[/name_f] [name_f]Beth[/name_f]
[name_u]Hudson[/name_u] [name_m]Brock[/name_m], [name_u]Hudson[/name_u] [name_m]Miles[/name_m], [name_u]Hudson[/name_u] [name_u]Rhys[/name_u], [name_u]Hudson[/name_u] [name_m]Christopher[/name_m] or [name_u]Hudson[/name_u] [name_m]Anthony[/name_m]
I think they are a wonderful pair! We have a daughter named [name_f]Naomi[/name_f] and we love her name. I saw on another website the meaning as “gentle beauty” and I love that. It’s a timeless, beautiful choice…We also have considered [name_u]Hudson[/name_u] for a boy but might go with another Biblical name when that time comes. I agree that you don’t want the names to be matchy and [name_u]Hudson[/name_u] and [name_f]Naomi[/name_f] have strong vowel sounds and to me feel like a great pair. Other names we love with [name_f]Naomi[/name_f] are [name_u]Jude[/name_u] and [name_m]Ezra[/name_m]. Not sure your style…Congratulations!!!
I think [name_f]Naomi[/name_f] and [name_u]Hudson[/name_u] are fine.
