Would these names work both for a child and an adult? I like nickname-y names (and if there any nn that stand out for the ones below I would love to know) but am more concerned if the name could be worn by an adult.
[name_f]Florence[/name_f], [name_f]Phillipa[/name_f], [name_f]Imogene[/name_f], [name_u]Marion[/name_u], [name_f]Georgia[/name_f], [name_f]Harriet[/name_f], [name_f]Helena[/name_f], [name_u]Simone[/name_u], and [name_u]Mallory[/name_u]
I think all of them work on any age! I’ve known of both children and adults named most of these and they felt perfectly natural.

I secretly love the idea of [name_u]Philly[/name_u] for [name_f]Phillipa[/name_f] but don’t think I am brave enough to use it
I think any of these names would work on any age! In fact, a lot of them seem pretty grown-up to me (but they have sweet nicknames that make them more approachable for a little one). I love nickname-names too, and I usually think they wear well on any age, but I know not everyone agrees. These, though, don’t seem nickname-y to me at all! So I think you’re totally good to go!

I’m definitely in the camp of “older” sounding names but their nickname-ability (if that is even a word) was what drew me to them for sure.

Definitely! But as an adult whose mom gave her one of those “professional” full names and who absolutely hates to be called anything but her nickname, I wish my mom had just put the name she liked more (my nickname) on the birth certificate. So I think you should go with what you love.
