Do these triplet sets sound crazy?

so Triplets run in my family and I have triplet sets picked out and I’m not sure if they sound crazy or not, I would love your opinions. be as brutal as you want with your opinions

all girls: Lennyn Rose, Presleigh Love, and Everly Samantha

all boys: John Alexander, Paul Jaxon, and George Everett

one boy and 2 girls: Diamond Alyssa, Marley Tatiana, and Harrison Waylon

2 boys and 1 girl: Starr Rosemarie, Hendrix Xavier, and Dylan James

Are the themes intentional?

All girls: Very themed with musicians- [name_u]John[/name_u] [name_u]Lennon[/name_u], [name_m]Elvis[/name_m] [name_u]Presley[/name_u], and the [name_u]Everly[/name_u] Brothers

All Boys: Very themed with The Beatles

The others are also very themed with music but less obvious.

I agree, I immediately noticed the musical theme in all of the sets, however it’s particuarly obvious in the first two sets - not such a big deal with the other 2.

Brutally honest (but still friendly) opinions…

[name_u]Lennyn[/name_u] [name_f]Rose[/name_f], [name_f]Presleigh[/name_f] [name_u]Love[/name_u], and [name_u]Everly[/name_u] [name_f]Samantha[/name_f]:
The musical theme doesn’t bother me at all with this set, I actually think it’s quite sweet. However, I much prefer the spelling [name_u]Lennon[/name_u] > [name_u]Lennyn[/name_u] and [name_u]Presley[/name_u] > [name_f]Presleigh[/name_f].

[name_u]Everly[/name_u] [name_f]Samantha[/name_f] is nice, but [name_u]Everly[/name_u] is quite similar to Presley/Presleigh. How about another Ev- name, like [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u], [name_f]Evelina[/name_f], [name_u]Ever[/name_u], [name_f]Evonne[/name_f], or [name_f]Eva[/name_f]?

If you wanted an [name_u]Everly[/name_u] Brothers themed name, how about [name_f]Philippa[/name_f], [name_f]Philomel[/name_f] (also coincidentally means 'lover of song"), Adonia, [name_f]Donna[/name_f], or [name_f]Sedona[/name_f]?

[name_u]John[/name_u] [name_m]Alexander[/name_m], [name_m]Paul[/name_m] [name_m]Jaxon[/name_m], and [name_u]George[/name_u] [name_u]Everett[/name_u]:
This one is a little bit too themed for my liking, however it wouldn’t be so obvious if you switched the first and middle names. How about [name_m]Alexander[/name_m] [name_u]John[/name_u], [name_m]Jaxon[/name_m] [name_m]Paul[/name_m], and [name_u]Everett[/name_u] [name_u]George[/name_u]? I actually prefer the sound of those names! (Although I personally prefer [name_u]Jackson[/name_u] > [name_m]Jaxon[/name_m], but no biggie).

[name_u]Diamond[/name_u] [name_f]Alyssa[/name_f], [name_u]Marley[/name_u] [name_f]Tatiana[/name_f], and [name_m]Harrison[/name_m] [name_m]Waylon[/name_m]
I don’t have heaps to say about this one. It’s nice! [name_u]Diamond[/name_u] is NMS but it’s pretty.

[name_f]Starr[/name_f] [name_f]Rosemarie[/name_f], [name_u]Hendrix[/name_u] [name_m]Xavier[/name_m], and [name_u]Dylan[/name_u] [name_u]James[/name_u]:
How are you pronouncing [name_m]Xavier[/name_m]? Ecks-ay-vee-er or Zay-vee-er? If you’re pronouncing it like the first one, [name_u]Hendrix[/name_u] clashes with it too much. If you’re pronoucing it like the latter, it sounds fine and you can disregard this.

I don’t love [name_f]Starr[/name_f], but like [name_u]Diamond[/name_u], it’s fine.

Some names that mean star that you might like: [name_f]Astara[/name_f], [name_f]Danica[/name_f], [name_f]Stella[/name_f], [name_u]Vesper[/name_u], [name_f]Este[/name_f], [name_f]Estelle[/name_f], [name_f]Esther[/name_f], [name_f]Etoile[/name_f]

I don’t think the girls set is bad. The boys set Is a little wild because you have classical names then more modern names. But that is just your taste. For the one boy two girls set personally I feel the name [name_u]Diamond[/name_u] is kinda stripper like. I like [name_u]Marley[/name_u] it’s cute but doesn’t match [name_f]Tatiana[/name_f]. I love love love [name_m]Harrison[/name_m] [name_m]Waylon[/name_m]. For the two boy one girl set I feel the same way about [name_f]Starr[/name_f] that I feel about [name_u]Diamond[/name_u]. I like [name_u]Hendrix[/name_u] [name_m]Xavier[/name_m] and [name_u]Dylan[/name_u] [name_u]James[/name_u].

I like John, Paul, and George best personally! I like more classic names, and these ones fit the bill! They seem the most cohesive to me, too, because of their classic natures.

Honestly. I don’t love the alternative spellings. I’m sorry! I actually have a cousin who used alternative spelling for their child. And the child is 5 and it still bothers me. :woman_shrugging::woman_facepalming:

[name_u]Lennon[/name_u] and [name_u]Presley[/name_u] sounds like siblings to me. [name_u]Everly[/name_u] seems very girly and more of a [name_f]Sophie[/name_f], [name_f]Olivia[/name_f] feel then more unisex.

[name_f]Starr[/name_f] and [name_u]Diamond[/name_u], I’ve met two folks with it but in my neck of the woods they’re not like the most classy of names.

I really like [name_m]Harrison[/name_m] [name_m]Waylon[/name_m]. [name_u]Strong[/name_u] name, and has a good cadence.

yep, rather name my kids after celebrities than family

I’m pronouncing Xavier, Zay-vee-er, and I’m dead set on using Everly

The all girls group sounds lovely! Personally, I feel that for the all boys you should switch the names around for them to flow more smoothly. Ex: [name_u]Everett[/name_u] [name_u]George[/name_u] va [name_u]George[/name_u] [name_u]Everett[/name_u]. That way you can still use those names if you were unsure about how they sounded. As for one boy and two girls, I feel that [name_u]Marley[/name_u] and [name_f]Tatiana[/name_f] don’t go together as well, especially in that order. Ironically, my husband and I almost named our daughter [name_u]Diamond[/name_u] too! How funny! Anyways, that name might work better if you change the middle name. [name_u]Love[/name_u] the middle name for [name_m]Harrison[/name_m], it’s unique. Finally for two boys and one girl, the name [name_f]Starr[/name_f] I’m kind of uneasy about, but [name_u]Dylan[/name_u] [name_u]James[/name_u] sounds good and [name_u]Hendrix[/name_u] [name_m]Xavier[/name_m] as well! If you wanted other girl names that start with “S” here are some: Sophia/Sophie, [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f], [name_f]Summer[/name_f], [name_f]Sienna[/name_f] etc. Best of luck with the kids!

[name_f]Starr[/name_f] is after [name_m]Ringo[/name_m] [name_f]Starr[/name_f] and I really love the idea of using it,

All girls: Spellings are a little icky to me i prefer [name_u]Lennon[/name_u], [name_u]Presley[/name_u], & [name_u]Everly[/name_u] (maybe you’d like Paisley?)
also i’d just like to add [name_u]John[/name_u] [name_u]Lennon[/name_u] was not a good man, but if you like him and support the things he’s done thats on you. [name_m]Elvis[/name_m] [name_u]Presley[/name_u] also groomed & slept with minors as an adult.

All Boys: It’s fine but i agree with @kasatka

1 boy 2 girls: [name_m]Harrison[/name_m] doesn’t fit, its too masculine and traditional.

2 boys and 1 girl: [name_u]Hendrix[/name_u] and [name_u]Dylan[/name_u] dont go well with [name_f]Starr[/name_f], and the x’s in [name_m]Xavier[/name_m] and [name_u]Hendrix[/name_u] Clash.

I get why people don’t like the idea of naming their kids after [name_m]Elvis[/name_m] [name_u]Presley[/name_u] and [name_u]John[/name_u] [name_u]Lennon[/name_u] but they did more good then bad and they are one of the reasons I’m still alive so Its really important to me to name one of my kids after them.

i think excusing their terrible behavior is a shitty thing to do. Saying they did more good than bad when Elvis Presley groomed and commited acts of statutory rape and john lennon has done more than i can can say, he was literally abusive Sorry Kids, But John Lennon Was Not A Good Man | Ravishly

It sounds like you’re already very set on all of these sets and won’t be changing your mind, so there’s not much need to give feedback then?

I was just curious what people thought

I’ve quoted anything I consider unusable.

Only the all-girls one sounds crazy-I’d rather you change the first two to [name_u]Lennon[/name_u] and [name_u]Presley[/name_u]

I immediately noticed the musical theme in all of them and I quite love it !! while I’m not personally a fan of diamond or starr as first names, I think they’re usable in real life so if you enjoy them, there’s no problem. in the same vein I think that while I prefer lennon to lennyn, presley to presleigh, and jackson to jaxon, the spellings are absolutely your choice.

the only. other issues are that the flow of starr rosemarie and hendrix xavier doesn’t really do it for me :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

hope this helps !!

These are nice sibling sets! :smiling_face_with_three_hearts: All of your options do work really well together, and I like that they all have something in common with one another. Also a sidenote - Presleigh Love is really cool - Elvis Presley’s mother had Love as a middle name

I think Lennyn, Presleigh and Everly are my favourites together because of the 1960s music connections - John Lennon, Elvis Presley and The Everly Brothers :relaxed: (I don’t condone or support what they did at all, but I do like their music).
