I can’t really come up with an explanation, but they sound very nice together. Actually, if you look at the meanings, they both actually happen to mean “a person from…” (Sebasta or [name_u]Adria[/name_u] respectively). So, they have similar meanings and a pleasant flow.

It’s sort of hard to explain…but here goes:

  1. They go together stylistically. Both names have an “older” feel to them, which I like. [name_f]Adrianna[/name_f] and [name_u]Jayden[/name_u] would sound odd to me, for example, but [name_m]Sebastian[/name_m] and [name_f]Adrianna[/name_f] are great.
  2. They are roughly the same length.
  3. They aren’t matchy names ([name_m]Adam[/name_m] and [name_f]Adrianna[/name_f], [name_m]Adrian[/name_m] and [name_f]Adrianna[/name_f], etc)
  4. They just sound great together…lol

I’d say they do. They both sound aristocratic, are long both in syllables and letters, and share the “ian” element without matching too closely.
