We’re TTC, and have a top boy name set (Maxwell). I want to find a girl combo that we both love, too, but also thinking about potential future sibsets as we want a few kids.

Open to other name suggestions, as well as other middles for [name_f]Maren[/name_f] & [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f]. Last name ends in -o, is 3 syllables, and is a place.
I tend to like 2-3 syllable names with 1-2 syllable middles, and built-in nicknames are a plus (e.g. [name_u]Maxwell[/name_u] nn Max) — although ironically [name_f]Maren[/name_f] and [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f] are sort of outliers to this preference (I’d likely use MK and PJ for the combos about though).
I think both names sound good with [name_u]Maxwell[/name_u] but I much prefer the name [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f]! I love the nickname [name_f]Bee[/name_f]. I think [name_f]Kate[/name_f] and [name_f]Joy[/name_f] sound good with either [name_f]Maren[/name_f] or [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f]. Some other middle names could be [name_f]Eliza[/name_f], [name_f]Mae[/name_f], [name_f]Honey[/name_f], [name_f]Pearl[/name_f], [name_f]Rose[/name_f]. I think [name_f]Maren[/name_f] and [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f] sound good as sisters as well but again, I am not a huge fan of the name [name_f]Maren[/name_f] so I am not the best judge
I particularly love [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f] [name_f]Joy[/name_f]! [name_f]Maren[/name_f] [name_f]Kate[/name_f] & [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f] [name_f]Joy[/name_f] go together nicely as sisters imo
[name_f]My[/name_f] favourite to go with [name_u]Maxwell[/name_u] (which is lovely btw!) would be [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f] as ideally I prefer not to repeat initials in sibsets (especially if there’s potentially going to be more than 2 children) but that’s just me and if that isn’t an issue for you then it doesn’t matter
[name_f]Phoebe[/name_f] sounds so lovely with [name_u]Maxwell[/name_u]. I think that is my favorite with him!
Both [name_f]Maren[/name_f] and [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f] are beautiful names. They work great for sisters. I do have a preference for [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f], personally, but they’re both truly lovely.
Also, beautiful middles!! I personally enjoy [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f] [name_f]Kate[/name_f] “PK” and [name_f]Maren[/name_f] [name_f]Joy[/name_f] “MJ” even more, but the way you have them is also delightful.
I love [name_f]Maren[/name_f] and [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f]! [name_f]Maren[/name_f] [name_f]Kate[/name_f] sounds a lot like [name_f]Mary[/name_f] [name_f]Kate[/name_f] so I would pick a different middle if that will bother you (it would bother me) or switch them. [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f] does have the advantage of not sharing an initial withMaxwell, which normally matters to me but I really loveMaren. I think all three or any combination sound good as siblings soyou can’t go wrong!

[name_f]Olive[/name_f] was on our list a long time ago - maybe we should revisit? Ruminating on [name_f]Olivet[/name_f] as well, but I wonder if [name_f]Olive[/name_f] is sleeker and easier to pronounce.
These are sweet options as well! Joy is a top MN choice for me with a few names. Kate is a classic fav of mine, and gets bonus points because my best friend wants our daughters to share middles (she has an Allison Kate).
[name_f]Maren[/name_f] and [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f] are super cute and fun -mature but bubbly. I like [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f] just slightly more with [name_u]Maxwell[/name_u] but both work and they work as sisters too
I love both [name_f]Maren[/name_f] and [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f]! Most Berries on this post are preferring [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f] but I think [name_f]Maren[/name_f] is just such a lovely and versatile name! I’d vote for [name_f]Maren[/name_f] [name_f]Kate[/name_f].

i think both work with maxwell, but i like phoebe the best! max and bee would be adorable siblings . phoebe and maren would be amazing sisters, but the alliteration with maxwell + maren and not phoebe does throw me off a bit.
So I love [name_f]Maren[/name_f] more than [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f], but I think [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f] works better with [name_u]Maxwell[/name_u] because they feel more distinct from each other and that matters to me. I agree with a PP that I think [name_f]Maren[/name_f] [name_f]Joy[/name_f] flows a whole lot better than [name_f]Maren[/name_f] [name_f]Kate[/name_f] and so I would switch them so it was [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f] [name_f]Kate[/name_f]. The two girl names would be great sister names and both of them together with [name_u]Maxwell[/name_u] would offset my issue of [name_f]Maren[/name_f] with [name_u]Maxwell[/name_u].
From your girls my favourite is [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f] [name_f]Joy[/name_f] especially with [name_u]Maxwell[/name_u]. [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f] is a lovely mythological name she’s vibrant, enchanting and happy sounding. I love that teamed with [name_f]Joy[/name_f] the name translates as ‘bright radiant joy’ which I think is so lovely. [name_f]Maren[/name_f] [name_f]Kate[/name_f] is also lovely! I love [name_f]Maren[/name_f] association with the sea I also really love [name_f]Kate[/name_f]. However not keen on siblings sharing initials as I think you can get yourself in a bit of a tricky situation if you go on to have more children will you find more ‘m’ names that you like. Also I think the fact that they both start with ‘ma’ could make the situation even trickier. Saying this if your only having two it’s not an issue! As sisters these two work well together very sweet.

Our longtime girl favorite was [name_u]Ruby[/name_u], but she’s quite literally lost her luster for me (lol!). As much as I try to not overthink (lol again!), I sometimes feel annoyed about not having a girl name I love as much as [name_u]Maxwell[/name_u]. DH loves it, I love it, I know our family would love it. UGH! [name_f]Girl[/name_f] names are just proving to be more challenging these days.
I really like [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f] with [name_u]Maxwell[/name_u]. [name_f]Maren[/name_f] and [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f] are great sisters also.
However, once you mentioned that [name_f]Olive[/name_f] might be in the cards, I honestly like [name_u]Maxwell[/name_u], [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f] and [name_f]Olive[/name_f] better than with [name_f]Maren[/name_f].
