The title might be confusing but you know in gift shops when there is pens with peoples names on them, all the olivia’s, the liams, the avas and the ethans (i love all those names by the way) do you find your name amongst them? usually, i don’t (lydia) but once i found a necklace with my name on when i was 10, i bought it and still have it now.

When I was younger, I would find it sometimes. Maybe about 50/50. But I don’t find it anymore. (My name is Bryan).

I remember finding my name most of the time, though it was a toss up whether they had “Megan” or “Meghan.”

Never, but my name is spelt in the alternative way. I liked reading the descriptions of other peoples names, on items that had them. [name_f]My[/name_f] brothers always found their names, but I didn’t feel like I was missing out by not finding my name.

Nope. I’ve never seen my name in a gift shop. To be honest though, I never really wanted any of name stuff they were selling

[name_f]My[/name_f] husband has a pretty uncommon name, and I found his name on a cheap pocket knife at gift shop last month, and I really wanted to buy it because it was the only time he has ever seen anything with his name. He did not want it at all, even after much persuading, so I put it back

I have a common yet dated name, so I wonder if I would have found it on something marketed towards children.

Not findable in the sense that it would ever be included on those novelty items anywhere in the world, but findable in the sense that if a stranger knew my name they’d be able to find me online pretty easily lol
