The title might be confusing but you know in gift shops when there is pens with peoples names on them, all the olivia’s, the liams, the avas and the ethans (i love all those names by the way) do you find your name amongst them? usually, i don’t (lydia) but once i found a necklace with my name on when i was 10, i bought it and still have it now.
When I was younger, I would find it sometimes. Maybe about 50/50. But I don’t find it anymore. (My name is Bryan).
As a [name_f]Grace[/name_f], yes, my name was (and is) pretty much always in the gift shops
Nope, but my guess is if I were to go to a gift shop in Ireland/Scotland/Wales I might be able to find it!
I remember finding my name most of the time, though it was a toss up whether they had “Megan” or “Meghan.”
Borderline. If there was a wide range available, there would be a [name_f]Mary[/name_f], but if there was only a handful my name never made the cut
No, I’ve never found anything with my name on it. [name_f]My[/name_f] twin brother’s name, on the other hand, is always available. I hated that when we were younger
no, i’ve never seen mine in gift shops. to be fair, my name hasn’t been in the us top 1000 in probably almost 50 years so i don’t really expect to see it.
Well, most of the time. Fyi my name was in the Finland top 20 girl names in the year I was born.
no, but I’m sure there’d be some in [name_f]Italy[/name_f]!
No, and I’ve never envied those who could find their name on gift shop merchandise.
[name_f]My[/name_f] old name yes and my chosen name, I’m pretty sure I can
Nope. [name_f]Violet[/name_f] is still very unique I guess
Never, but my name is spelt in the alternative way. I liked reading the descriptions of other peoples names, on items that had them. [name_f]My[/name_f] brothers always found their names, but I didn’t feel like I was missing out by not finding my name.
[name_f]My[/name_f] name was in the top five the year I was born and even now almost 40 years later I can still nearly always find it.
Nope. I’ve never seen my name in a gift shop. To be honest though, I never really wanted any of name stuff they were selling
[name_f]My[/name_f] mom spelled my name with a unique spelling, so it’s never there spelled correctly, but it is often there otherwise. [name_f]My[/name_f] husband has a pretty uncommon name, and I found his name on a cheap pocket knife at gift shop last month, and I really wanted to buy it because it was the only time he has ever seen anything with his name. He did not want it at all, even after much persuading, so I put it back
I’m not sure! I don’t remember looking at the personalized items.
I have a common yet dated name, so I wonder if I would have found it on something marketed towards children.
oh yes, I have the top name of my era
Not findable in the sense that it would ever be included on those novelty items anywhere in the world, but findable in the sense that if a stranger knew my name they’d be able to find me online pretty easily lol
