Do you have a nickname? If so, how did you get said nickname(s)?
I thought this thread would be fun as most of us in childhood had that name that we were often called in various groups, whether due to an event or an unfortunate mistake or just because of a roast. Back when I used Reddit (thank God I left), I posted on the roastme subreddit (which can be brutal at times). Unfortunately I got many comparisons to Eric Cartman from South Park and someone in the thread called me Erika. Jokes on them as I go by that name now online. Another one that arose sounded like it came out of a Dhar Mann video (autistic Annabelle). Many dhar mann videos follow the same formula of good guy gets bullied, bad guy reforms, cheesy life lesson, many of the good guy characters have names based on the target that the bully teases them about (Stuttering Samuel for example).

A neighbour started calling me [name_f]Rebecca[/name_f] Rhubarb when I was little because I popped up everywhere wanting to know what they were doing - and apparently rhubarb can grow anywhere ??? - and 28 years later it’s still my nickname and my go-to name online, hence beccarhubarb

Mainly, my nicknames are [name_u]Haze[/name_u] and Hazy! [name_u]Haze[/name_u] is just the first syllable of my name, and Hazy comes from a show I loved when I was a little one: [name_f]Maisie[/name_f] Mouse. Dad would call me Hazy Mouse instead, and he still does sometimes, but usually it’s Hazy!
One of my friends gave me the nickname Hazabelle when I was younger because as a tie to my love of Disney princesses and the fact that I kept playing princesses in our school plays. [name_m]Hence[/name_m] the addition of my favorite princess’s name to my name: [name_f]Belle[/name_f]!
