I don’t live in [name]America[/name], but in non-english speaking country. So I have a hard time picturing everyday life in [name]America[/name], especially which names are dated, which are classic ones, which are modern, which are old, which are trendy or granny chic… etc.
I would like to know how popular some names truly are, because one name might appear popular, yet only 2% of girls are named this. Like [name]Sophia[/name] in 2013.
So let’s play one game, which is not actually a game, just one kind of discussion about popularity of names. [name]One[/name] person list five names, if somebody knows people named that, he/she should tell. Game stars all over when all names are recognized.
Example:
I list these names:
[name]Sophia[/name], [name]Juniper[/name], [name]Georg[/name], [name]Francisco[/name] and [name]Lucy[/name]. Next person says: I know [name]Sophia[/name] and [name]Georg[/name], second person says I know [name]Sophia[/name] and [name]Lucy[/name], next person says I know [name]Juniper[/name] and [name]Francisco[/name]. Then some random poster list next five names.
All names must be on the ssa top 1000.
I will star first.
[name]Maria[/name]
[name]Lucy[/name]
[name]Fiona[/name]
[name]Shawn[/name]
[name]Romeo[/name].
Awesome list! The only [name]Ruby[/name] I know is an elderly lady, although I have known a few people where it was high on their list for the next baby. I know one [name]Graeme[/name] and one boy with [name]Graham[/name] as a middle name (and one more lady where it ended up coming in #2 for her new baby, so he was named [name]Vince[/name]). I have yet to meet an [name]Ezra[/name], [name]Jonas[/name] or [name]Isla[/name]
