I am really confused! I ask people if they like my name, and they say things like “Um, I wouldn’t name my kid that” or “I’m not keen on that name but”, and that’s when I ask them to their faces.
I like asking people online because you can really give the real opinion. I mean, tell me if you like it! [name]Just[/name] because you wouldn’t give your child that name, doesnt mean you dont like it!!! Sorry, I’m just telling YOU guys to actually give me an answer of yes or no not like the people I was talking about! Anyway, my name is [name]Bella[/name] [name]Maryanne[/name]. My real name is [name]Isabella[/name] [name]Maryanne[/name], but everyone calls me [name]Maryanne[/name]. Tell me if you like it, honest opinion(but avoid being too mean, it hurts my feelings), then also answer the below questions about it.

I would name my child [name]Isabella[/name] [name]Anne[/name] because I personally think that [name]Maryanne[/name] is a little too much. (My grandmother is called [name]Isobel[/name] and my G-Grandmother was called [name]Annie[/name])

It depends I think that [name]Bella[/name] might suit you now but you might decide to use [name]Isabella[/name] when you are older.

I’m not sure because I don’t know you - but when I hear the name [name]Bella[/name] or [name]Isabella[/name] it makes me feel happy

I think I read a post where you siad that [name]Maryanne[/name] was your grandmother’s name or a family name and your dad chose it and your mum loved the name [name]Isabella[/name].

And, what do you think of my younger sister’s name, Jara [name]Kristina[/name]?

I like it but it feels quite different from [name]Isabella[/name] [name]Maryanne[/name]

I love the name [name]Isabella[/name] - it is beautiful, feminine, classic and refined. I wouldn’t use it, because it is very popular and popularity of names bothers me, but it is popular for that very reason, it is a lovely name.

If I was to name a daughter [name]Isabella[/name], she would have two middle names. I might use [name]Isabella[/name] [name]Thisbe[/name] [name]Saoirse[/name] (THIZ-bee and SARE-sha), because I’d want more unusual middles and I love those names. [name]Isabella[/name] [name]Esther[/name] [name]Clarity[/name] would be nice, too.

I like [name]Bella[/name], but wouldn’t give it as a full first name, [name]Isabella[/name] (or [name]Arabella[/name], [name]Mirabelle[/name] et cetera) is needed to back it up, in my opinion. I love nicknames, though, and [name]Bella[/name] is a good one.

It’s hard to bring up the personality of an [name]Isabella[/name] in my mind because of its popularity, but I would say perhaps - spunky, independent-minded, feminine but strong-willed.

Of [name]Maryanne[/name] and [name]Bella[/name], I prefer [name]Bella[/name], personally. I do, however, like [name]Mary[/name] and [name]Anna[/name] seperately a lot, and am not sure whether I might choose one of those over [name]Bella[/name].

Purely on the basis of sound, I prefer the nn [name]Bella[/name], but due to some personal associations I like [name]Izzy[/name] just as much.

I would assume your parents picked [name]Isabella[/name] because they liked it, and [name]Maryanne[/name] I would guess honours someone, perhaps an aunt or grandmother (based on the time vibe it gives me).

You have a great name! [name]Don[/name]'t let people’s reactions get you down - they probably just have very different taste, perhaps they only like more masculine names for girls, or think the spelling should be yooneek.

It would depend - I might have used classic, vintage, unusual, floral, Shakespearean, etc. middle names, but if I were to use middle names that were similar to [name]Maryanne[/name], I would have gone with [name]Isabella[/name] [name]Marigold[/name] [name]Anne[/name]. Your middle name flows very well with [name]Isabella[/name], in my opinion.

I would say [name]Isabella[/name] with the nickname [name]Bella[/name].

The name [name]Isabella[/name] has a variety of nicknames, so it would depend - [name]Isabella[/name], I think, would be girly and elegant, [name]Izzy[/name] would be spunky, funny, and somewhat tomboyish, [name]Bella[/name] would suit several different personality types (usually, when I imagine someone’s personality based on their name, I’m influenced by other people I know with the name - I know a few Bellas, and their personalities are rather different), and [name]Ella[/name] and [name]Ellie[/name] would be sweet and gentle.

I actually like both (though I prefer [name]Marianne[/name] over [name]Maryanne[/name], personally) - [name]Bella[/name] feels a bit more youthful, but [name]Maryanne[/name] is more distinctive these days.

I think that [name]Maryanne[/name] might have been a combination of family names, probably [name]Mary[/name] and [name]Anne[/name], though it could have been [name]Mary[/name] and [name]Anna[/name], [name]Marie[/name] and [name]Ann[/name]/e, [name]Marie[/name] and [name]Anna[/name], [name]Maria[/name] and [name]Ann[/name]/e, [name]Maria[/name] and [name]Anna[/name], etc.

I love the name [name]Bella[/name] because that’s my Goddaughter’s name, and she’s the best little girl in the whole wide world! She was also pre-Twilight.
