I think it’s a large region of the Netherlands and thus not a baby name.

If you are deciding and your dutch I’d say don’t because there are too many stereotypes that come along with it.
[name]Do[/name] people in the Netherlands use [name]Holland[/name] as a name? If they don’t, then I wouldn’t recommend using it.

I don’t like place names as first names in general.
I generally dislike place names for people. Especially places outside of your country; it feels like trying too hard to be different and cultured.
For a place name, which I generally dislike, I don’t think it’s bad. [name]Holland[/name] just has a good ring to it, even though it’s definitely not my style.

I do like it a lot, I think it’s great to be creative and have unique names. Most kids wouldn’t like it if they got stuck with something boring, a ‘Plain [name]Jane[/name]’ name.
I certainly don’t like my very ‘plain jane’ name.
I also knew a little redhead girl named [name]Holland[/name]. She was so darling and fit the name to a T. It is a very hard name to fit but it can definitely work.
Also, if the child doesn’t like it, there’s lots of spunky nicknames that go with it like: [name]Hollie[/name], [name]Hollis[/name], etc
It’s all right. I used to like it a lot, several years ago, but now I’m more neutral to it. I think my style’s just changed though.
No! The only thing I can think of is [name]Holland[/name] sauce!
I love it. If [name]India[/name], [name]Asia[/name], and [name]London[/name] can be names then why not [name]Holland[/name]? Especially if that place is significant to you. [name]Even[/name] if it isn’t, it is still a pretty name. It is strong and earthy.

Meh. It’s just meh. I don’t like it, but it doesn’t give me heart failure either.
I don’t like it. It’s the name of two counties in The Netherlands ([name]North[/name] [name]Holland[/name] and South [name]Holland[/name]) which is a turn off. And when I went to [name]Sunday[/name] school there was a girl with the last name [name]Holland[/name] and she was super annoying. Like, mind blowingly annoying.
