Do you like of dislike these?

[name_m]Hi[/name_m] Berries!
This is my first post- and I’d like to know what do you think of my girls list! It’s a little lengthy and I need to weed out some names. I’m not expecting yet- but I am building a list.
Thanks in advance! Can’t wait to see what you have to say.

[name_f]Aisling[/name_f]
[name_u]Clare[/name_u]
[name_u]Eden[/name_u]
[name_f]Ella[/name_f]
[name_f]Fiona[/name_f]
[name_u]Hadley[/name_u]
[name_f]Hannah[/name_f]
[name_u]Harper[/name_u]

[name_u]Quinn[/name_u]
[name_f]Violet[/name_f]
[name_u]Wren[/name_u]

[name_f]Aisling[/name_f]-dislike, i prefer [name_u]Ainsley[/name_u]
[name_u]Clare[/name_u]-love, so short and simple, love this spelling
[name_u]Eden[/name_u]-Dislike, it is outdated and not very modern
[name_f]Ella[/name_f]-in the middle, it is so cute for little girls but when they get older they tend to outgrow it [name_f]IMO[/name_f]
[name_f]Fiona[/name_f]-love, it is so Irish, it is on my Guilty Pleasures List
[name_u]Hadley[/name_u]- like, it isn’t very girly, but i like the way it sounds
[name_f]Hannah[/name_f]-Dislike, it is way overused, try the spelling [name_f]Hanna[/name_f] (i think it looks prettier)
[name_u]Harper[/name_u]- i like this name because of it’s flowing and naturally sounding pronunciation, very pretty
[name_f]Isobel[/name_f]- like, very popular but i like this spelling the best
[name_f]Mallory[/name_f]- like, very old fashioned, but still gorgeous
[name_u]Morgan[/name_u]- this is unisex and when i hear it i think it is more of a boyish name [name_f]IMO[/name_f]
[name_u]Piper[/name_u]- [name_u]LOVE[/name_u], [name_u]LOVE[/name_u], [name_u]LOVE[/name_u]! It is so beautiful and it’s on my list as well!
[name_f]Sophie[/name_f]- i like [name_f]Sophie[/name_f] more than [name_f]Sophia[/name_f], but it is too common for my taste
[name_f]Tamsin[/name_f]- i dislike, it doesn’t sound like a girl name to me
[name_f]Tessa[/name_f]- like, very flirty and girly
[name_u]Quinn[/name_u]- i love this name, but Glee kinda ruined it for me :frowning:
[name_f]Violet[/name_f]- beautiful and very suiting
[name_u]Wren[/name_u]- i think of the boy from footloose,

Sorry if i was too critical
[name_f]Hope[/name_f] this helps!

[name_f]Aisling[/name_f] – not a fan personally. I don’t like the “ing” ending
[name_u]Clare[/name_u] – [name_u]Love[/name_u], prefer spelling [name_f]Claire[/name_f]
[name_u]Eden[/name_u] – Is okay
[name_f]Ella[/name_f] – [name_u]Love[/name_u], is popular for good reason. I think having a longer variation would be nice, but just [name_f]Ella[/name_f] is great on its own.
[name_f]Fiona[/name_f] – [name_u]Love[/name_u].
[name_u]Hadley[/name_u] – Not a fan.
[name_f]Hannah[/name_f] – Is okay.
[name_u]Harper[/name_u] – [name_u]Love[/name_u], again think is popular for good reason. Was on my list (doesn’t sound good with my last name)
[name_f]Isobel[/name_f] – [name_m]Favorite[/name_m] spelling. A lovely name.
[name_f]Mallory[/name_f] – Cute and fun name, not heard often but is familiar.
[name_u]Morgan[/name_u] – dislike
[name_u]Piper[/name_u] – Fun and spunky.
[name_f]Sophie[/name_f] – Is okay.
[name_f]Tamsin[/name_f] – Intriguing, has a tomboy yet polished feel to me. I also know a [name_f]Tamsin[/name_f] who is very intelligent and funny.
[name_f]Tessa[/name_f] – Not my style, but a nice name.
[name_u]Quinn[/name_u] – Great unisex choice.
[name_f]Violet[/name_f] – Vintage and fun.
[name_u]Wren[/name_u] – I prefer this as a middle name, but I think it makes for a very flexible first – I can see this on a flower child as well as a professional, if that make sense.

[name_u]Hadley[/name_u] and [name_u]Quinn[/name_u] are the only ones I dislike.

[name_f]Sophie[/name_f] and [name_f]Tamsin[/name_f] I love.

Have fun!

[name_f]Aisling[/name_f]- It’s a nice name, just not my style
[name_u]Clare[/name_u]- I prefer the [name_f]Claire[/name_f] spelling but I really like the name, simple and classic
[name_u]Eden[/name_u]- biblical and cutesy
[name_f]Ella[/name_f]- I like the name but not as much as other [name_f]El[/name_f] names I like
[name_f]Fiona[/name_f]- It’s ok, not really my taste- reminds me of Shrek
[name_u]Hadley[/name_u]- Not a fan
[name_f]Hannah[/name_f]- I have a soft spot for [name_f]Hannah[/name_f], it’s a great name
[name_u]Harper[/name_u]- A little trendy for me, I don’t really love many girls names ending in ‘er’
[name_f]Isobel[/name_f]- [name_f]My[/name_f] favourite spelling of the name, a nice classic
[name_f]Mallory[/name_f]- I have a bad association with this name, and it means unlucky
[name_u]Morgan[/name_u]- I like [name_u]Morgan[/name_u] and [name_f]Morgana[/name_f], it’s a great name
[name_u]Piper[/name_u]- Charmed…I want to like it
[name_f]Sophie[/name_f]- It’s really common in my area, neither like or dislike this name to be honest
[name_f]Tamsin[/name_f]- I really like this name, I’d like to see it used more
[name_f]Tessa[/name_f]- Another great name, though I prefer [name_f]Tess[/name_f]
[name_u]Quinn[/name_u]- I’m really warming up to this name, I like it for a girl
[name_f]Violet[/name_f]- I love this name, one of my all time favourites, classic and vintage
[name_u]Wren[/name_u]- Reminds me of watching [name_m]Even[/name_m] Stevens, I prefer this as a middle name along with [name_f]Lark[/name_f]

[name_f]Aisling[/name_f] - sweet name, but I prefer [name_u]Ainsley[/name_u]
[name_u]Clare[/name_u] - very classic, love it
[name_u]Eden[/name_u] - not my favorite, but not awful
[name_f]Ella[/name_f] - it’s nice, but I think it’s become too popular
[name_f]Fiona[/name_f] - it’s not a personal favorite if mine, but it’s nice
[name_u]Hadley[/name_u] - I like it, you don’t meet a lot of [name_u]Hadley[/name_u]'s
[name_f]Hannah[/name_f] - a very classic name, love the meaning
[name_u]Harper[/name_u] - not a favorite of mine
[name_f]Isobel[/name_f] - this one is really growing on me, it’s a nice variant to all the [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f]'s
[name_f]Mallory[/name_f] - I love this name!! So pretty!
[name_u]Morgan[/name_u] - this one is really popular, not my style
[name_u]Piper[/name_u] - love the name
[name_f]Sophie[/name_f] - berry sweet name, but there are a lot of [name_f]Sophie[/name_f]'s out there
[name_f]Tamsin[/name_f] - as you can see in my signature, this is a favorite of mine, it’s such a pretty and unique name
[name_f]Tessa[/name_f] - great name
[name_u]Quinn[/name_u] - not a fan if this name on a girl
[name_f]Violet[/name_f] - very vintage, great style
[name_u]Wren[/name_u] - I’m not a nature name fan, but this is one of the more tolerable ones
I like your overall style, you have a great list of names here

[name_f]Aisling[/name_f] - Nice. I like how it looks much better than I like how it sounds, though.
[name_u]Clare[/name_u] - Feels a bit bare without the I, but it’s still a solid classic.
[name_u]Eden[/name_u] - Very NMS. Feels kind of bitchy and spoiled, and sounds unpleasant to me.
[name_f]Ella[/name_f] - Ubiquitous, but still a good name. Pretty and simple.
[name_f]Fiona[/name_f] - [name_u]Love[/name_u] it. So much personality in so few letters.
[name_u]Hadley[/name_u] - Very NMS again–it feels cutesy, overly trendy, and almost aggressively unisex.
[name_f]Hannah[/name_f] - Same as [name_f]Ella[/name_f] (but more classic)
[name_u]Harper[/name_u] - Same as [name_u]Hadley[/name_u], except I also find the sound grating and ugly.
[name_f]Isobel[/name_f] - [name_u]Love[/name_u] it! The O spelling is so sophisticated, yet accessible.
[name_f]Mallory[/name_f] - Similar to [name_u]Hadley[/name_u], but I like it slightly more.
[name_u]Morgan[/name_u] - Niceish. A solid, if bland, unisex choice.
[name_u]Piper[/name_u] - Same as [name_u]Harper[/name_u]. There’s something about that “pipe” sound that makes me downright uncomfortable.
[name_f]Sophie[/name_f] - Crazy popular, but very likeable, feminine, and cute. Definitely a nickname-name.
[name_f]Tamsin[/name_f] - Very cool. I like how it’s tomboyish and devil-may-care.
[name_f]Tessa[/name_f] - Right in the sweet spot, and so intelligent-sounding. [name_u]Love[/name_u] it.
[name_u]Quinn[/name_u] - I’m not typically a unisex-names person, but I like [name_u]Quinn[/name_u] as much as the next person.
[name_f]Violet[/name_f] - One of the nicest of the mainstream flower names. Does have vaguely mean-girl vibes, though.
[name_u]Wren[/name_u] - [name_u]Love[/name_u] it. Simple, unpretentious, unexpected, and easygoing.

[name_f]Aisling[/name_f] - I’m always confused about how to spell this
[name_u]Clare[/name_u] - I prefer [name_f]Claire[/name_f]
[name_u]Eden[/name_u] - Very Nature-y
[name_f]Ella[/name_f] - [name_f]Ella[/name_f] is pretty, why not make is a nickname though?
[name_f]Fiona[/name_f] - [name_f]Fiona[/name_f] is so pretty! [name_m]How[/name_m] about [name_f]Flora[/name_f]?
[name_u]Hadley[/name_u] - I really dislike [name_u]Hadley[/name_u]
[name_f]Hannah[/name_f] - Feels very dated, but [name_f]Hannah[/name_f]'s ok
[name_u]Harper[/name_u] - Too trendy. I don’t like the sound.
[name_f]Isobel[/name_f] - Trendy but pretty
[name_f]Mallory[/name_f] - Totally dated. I don’t love it.
[name_u]Morgan[/name_u] - I like [name_u]Morgan[/name_u]. Very down to earth.
[name_u]Piper[/name_u] - Cool, trendy (less so than [name_u]Harper[/name_u] and [name_f]Isobel[/name_f]), but pretty.
[name_f]Sophie[/name_f] - Cool and Classic. [name_f]Sophie[/name_f] has a lovely sound.
[name_f]Tamsin[/name_f] - I don’t love it.
[name_f]Tessa[/name_f] - I [name_u]LOVE[/name_u] IT. [name_f]Tessa[/name_f] is the best name on this list.
[name_u]Quinn[/name_u] - Pretty, but sort of boring [name_f]IMO[/name_f].
[name_f]Violet[/name_f] - [name_f]My[/name_f] second favourite name on this list! [name_f]Violet[/name_f] and [name_f]Tessa[/name_f] are both so perfect!
[name_u]Wren[/name_u] - This name is growing on me.

Top Names: [name_f]Tess[/name_f], [name_f]Violet[/name_f], [name_f]Fiona[/name_f], [name_f]Sophie[/name_f], [name_u]Piper[/name_u], [name_u]Morgan[/name_u].

like - [name_u]Clare[/name_u], [name_u]Eden[/name_u], [name_f]Ella[/name_f], [name_u]Hadley[/name_u], [name_f]Hannah[/name_f], [name_u]Harper[/name_u], [name_f]Isobel[/name_f], [name_u]Piper[/name_u], [name_f]Sophie[/name_f], [name_f]Tessa[/name_f], [name_u]Wren[/name_u]

dislike - [name_f]Aisling[/name_f], [name_f]Fiona[/name_f], [name_f]Violet[/name_f]

neutral - [name_f]Mallory[/name_f], [name_u]Morgan[/name_u], [name_f]Tamsin[/name_f], [name_u]Quinn[/name_u]

You have some great ones in there!

[name_u]Love[/name_u] - [name_u]Eden[/name_u], [name_u]Piper[/name_u], [name_u]Harper[/name_u]

Like - [name_f]Ella[/name_f], [name_f]Sophie[/name_f], [name_u]Clare[/name_u] ( but prefer [name_f]Claire[/name_f] spelling)

But my number one is [name_f]Violet[/name_f] because it’s not as popular and so beautiful!

I also really like [name_u]Hadley[/name_u], maybe with a more feminine mn? [name_u]Hadley[/name_u] [name_u]Piper[/name_u], [name_u]Hadley[/name_u] [name_u]Clare[/name_u], [name_u]Hadley[/name_u] [name_f]Fiona[/name_f]?

Thanks so much, everyone! I’m excited to have so many responses! Your opinions are all very helpful (and different!). It’s interesting to see the all the varied reactions to the names.

I like [name_f]Fiona[/name_f], [name_u]Harper[/name_u], [name_f]Ella[/name_f], [name_f]Tamsin[/name_f], and [name_u]Wren[/name_u]. I love [name_u]Quinn[/name_u], and [name_f]Mallory[/name_f]. [name_f]Tess[/name_f] I like better than [name_f]Tessa[/name_f]. [name_f]Tessa[/name_f] is a cute choice though.

[name_f]Aisling[/name_f]–pretty, confusing for some
[name_u]Clare[/name_u]–nice…I prefer the [name_f]Claire[/name_f] spelling…kind of makes me think ‘soccer mom’
[name_u]Eden[/name_u]–sweet
[name_f]Ella[/name_f]–eh…kind of tiresome, but I love [name_f]Elle[/name_f].
[name_f]Fiona[/name_f]–great! Also, [name_f]Finola[/name_f].
[name_u]Hadley[/name_u]–surname of a hs friend…I’d say no unless it’s a family name.
[name_f]Hannah[/name_f]–a bit Puritan, but classic all the same.
[name_u]Harper[/name_u]–I love it…literary & music surnames are the exception to my rule about having it in your family tree.
[name_f]Isobel[/name_f]–historical, classic
[name_f]Mallory[/name_f]–sounds pretty, but mal = bad in Latin languages.
[name_u]Morgan[/name_u]–love it, esp. [name_f]Morgana[/name_f].
[name_u]Piper[/name_u]–cute
[name_f]Sophie[/name_f]–cute and classic–love it!
[name_f]Tamsin[/name_f]–eh
[name_f]Tessa[/name_f]–eh
[name_u]Quinn[/name_u]–I’d like it better if it was less popular
[name_f]Violet[/name_f]–sweet…[name_f]Violette[/name_f] for some sophistication.
[name_u]Wren[/name_u]–love it!

OK:
[name_u]Clare[/name_u] - I much prefer [name_f]Claire[/name_f], but then again I’m [name_m]French[/name_m].

[name_f]Hannah[/name_f] - It’s fine

[name_u]Clare[/name_u]: I like it, but it’s not my favorite name on our list.
[name_u]Eden[/name_u]: I like it.
[name_f]Ella[/name_f]: Cute, but I’d prefer it as a NN
[name_f]Fiona[/name_f]: I wouldn’t use it myself, but I think t’s cute.
[name_u]Hadley[/name_u]: Not a fan
[name_f]Hannah[/name_f]: I’m probably biased because it’s my name, but I love it!

[name_f]Isobel[/name_f]: I prefer it spelled [name_f]Isabel[/name_f], but I still like it.
[name_f]Mallory[/name_f]: One of my least favorite on the list.
[name_u]Morgan[/name_u]: [name_u]Love[/name_u] it!

[name_u]Quinn[/name_u]: Eh, not my favorite
[name_f]Violet[/name_f]: [name_u]Love[/name_u], love, love!
[name_u]Wren[/name_u]: It’s ok

[name_f]Aisling[/name_f] – I don’t like it, it doesn’t sound usable to me
[name_u]Clare[/name_u] – I always like [name_u]Clare[/name_u]. I prefer [name_f]Clara[/name_f], though.
[name_u]Eden[/name_u] – I think [name_u]Eden[/name_u] is pretty and classy.
[name_f]Ella[/name_f] – I prefer [name_f]Ella[/name_f] as a nickname for another longer name.
[name_f]Fiona[/name_f] – I like [name_f]Fiona[/name_f], I think it’s pretty, and I know a lovely woman with the name [name_f]Fiona[/name_f]. So I have a good association with it.
[name_u]Hadley[/name_u] – Not a fan, too unisex
[name_f]Hannah[/name_f] – Dated
[name_u]Harper[/name_u] – Too trendy
[name_f]Isobel[/name_f] – A pretty name with a different spelling than the other popular names.
[name_f]Mallory[/name_f] – I don’t like [name_f]Mallory[/name_f], it sounds like mallard which is a term for a duck
[name_u]Morgan[/name_u] – I always like [name_u]Morgan[/name_u], I picture and dark hair and beautiful woman with this name.
[name_u]Piper[/name_u] – Not a fan
[name_f]Sophie[/name_f] – [name_f]Lovely[/name_f], though popular
[name_f]Tamsin[/name_f] – I love this name, it’s different, but fits in at the same time.
[name_f]Tessa[/name_f] – I never liked [name_f]Tessa[/name_f], it sounds like a nickname for another longer name.
[name_u]Quinn[/name_u] – I prefer [name_u]Quinn[/name_u] as a shorter form of [name_m]Quinton[/name_m], and for a guy
[name_f]Violet[/name_f] – A lovely vintage name that will work perfectly for this day and age.
[name_u]Wren[/name_u] – [name_m]Just[/name_m] doesn’t have a substantial enough sound to be a first name in my opinion, it’ll make a nick middle name though.

[name_f]Isobel[/name_f]
[name_f]Tessa[/name_f]
[name_f]Violet[/name_f]
[name_u]Wren[/name_u]

Again- I’m excited to get so much feed back. It’s interesting- most of you agree that [name_u]Clare[/name_u] needs and “i” and that [name_f]Ella[/name_f] is too nickname-ish. It gives me something to think about! Thanks!

[name_f]Aisling[/name_f] - I like it (I have a friend called [name_f]Aisling[/name_f]!) but I would be slightly worried about pronunciation difficulties.
[name_u]Clare[/name_u] - I prefer the spelling [name_f]Claire[/name_f], but I love this name! I probably prefer [name_f]Clara[/name_f] as well, but that’s just my taste.
[name_u]Eden[/name_u] - I like it, the nn [name_f]Edie[/name_f] is a pull for me.
[name_f]Ella[/name_f] - not a fan sorry.
[name_f]Fiona[/name_f] - love this name! Elegant and underused.
[name_u]Hadley[/name_u] - really dislike sorry.
[name_f]Hannah[/name_f] - it’s ok, a little bland.

[name_f]Isobel[/name_f] - love this! [name_f]My[/name_f] favourite spelling.
[name_f]Mallory[/name_f] - I quite like it - I think of [name_f]Enid[/name_f] Blyton’s [name_f]Malory[/name_f] [name_m]Towers[/name_m] series which I absolutely adore.
[name_u]Morgan[/name_u] - dislike, sorry. Not a fan of unisex names in general.
[name_u]Piper[/name_u] - quite like it, but not really my taste
[name_f]Sophie[/name_f] - pretty, but a little bland
[name_f]Tamsin[/name_f] - not a fan, sorry.

[name_u]Wren[/name_u] - love it!
