My name is [name_u]Clare[/name_u]. As a child I wasn’t very fond of my name due to it’s lack of nickname potential (besides [name_u]Clare[/name_u] bear). As i’ve grown up though i’ve really started to love it.
Everybody misspells my name as [name_f]Claire[/name_f] so your spelling is the one i’d go with if you choose to use it.

It’s a little outdated imo, but it’s a nice simple traditional name. DH and I plan to use [name_u]Clare[/name_u] as one of our future DDs middle names. I never would’ve chosen it but it’s an honour name and I’m perfectly happy to use it. There are definitely much worse!
